Doey Fizzlewood, she/her.

Physical Description: A short, 4'3", peach-skinned Asian-American girl with grey eyes. She has shoulder-length black hair with dyed tips, that are usually hot-pink, though she is known to experiment with other vibrant, neon colors. Often wearing colorful comfy sweaters, tall socks, and worn leather walking shoes, Doey casually wears cottagecore outfits. With formal-wear, however, she loves to try something new with bright dresses that match her hair.

Mental Description: Anxious but friendly, Doey is eager to make connections. Struggling with knowing herself, she tends to be quiet and observe, only ever speaking from the heart when she knows how to put her feelings into words. Otherwise, she mostly speaks with humor and friendly jests to the people close to her. She is afraid of violence and arguments.

Biography: Born in America, Doey was just a toddler when she moved to England. Raised by a magical mom and a muggle dad who often argued and struggled to get along, Doey often found herself playing mediator for her parents. With her dad constantly busy with work, Doey's mom became her best friend. Whilst she attended muggle public schooling, her mother would often take her to magical places and meet with magical family friends. Doey was comfortable with her life. However, after a particularly disturbing argument between her parents (see FIOM), Doey found herself uprooted: her parents had seen their deteriorating relationship harm their only child, and so they separated. Since the age of 9, Doey had been switching living weekly between her two parents, being homeschooled basic maths and reading (her father), as well as magical history and animal husbandry (her mother). It was no surprise when her letter came from Hogwarts--much to her fathers dismay. On the other hand, her mom had had a celebration prepared as soon as it arrived.

First Instance of Magic: During a stormy night (though it may have been her imagination, given the thunderous voice of her father), Doey was doodling in her sketchbook when she heard shouting. Though this was usually commonplace in her household, the way her bones vibrated indicated this shouting was different from before. She closed herself in her wardrobe, attempting to isolate from the noise and drown out the sounds with the music player her dad gave her, like she usually does. However, even its loudest volume wasn't enough to distract her. Covering her ears and closing her eyes, she screamed out of frustration. There were small popping noises in her head--or was it something around her? When she opened her eyes, everything was quiet and dark. Her parents rushed to her room, fumbling slightly (due to the darkness), and found her in her small hidey-hole in the closet, a sobbing mess. Every light bulb in her house was broken.
