Parker lived with his muggle father in an apartment. His father opened a library after filing a divorce with Parker's mother. Parker has lived for learning and has played the cello since age 7. His Aunt Lidia lives in the apartment under them. Parker usually is either in school or his father's library. At least until a fateful letter came along.
Parker was sitting in the library reading a book on French pastries, when his dad asked for help with putting away books. Parker put his book away and grabbed some books. As he was climbing a ladder he dropped the 6 or 7 books he was carrying. He impulsively jumped for the books. He was terrified with books falling all around him. inches above the ground his entire body gave a lurch. He and the books were levitating. As he looked around, he softly dropped to the ground. His father came in and said " there's something you 'otta know.
