Physical Description: Emilia is a pale girl with brown eyes, which bare into your soul (she's really good at staring contests) that she gained from her Muggle father. Her hair is short, reaching about to her shoulders. and it is a blondish brown and pin slightly wavy. She likes to pull it back with barretts to keep it out of her face. She's quite small, standing at a whopping 4'8", but what she lacks in height she makes up for in spunk!
Mental Description: Emilia, while having a lot of kindness in her heart, can be perceived as a bit...blunt. She can be a bit brash, and tends to express what she thinks, even in instances where she probably shouldn't. She's outgoing, although it takes a bit for her to crack a smile. Although she has a very stern resting face, she means good in every situation. She just needs some people in her life to crack her very thick shell.
Biography: Emilia actually didn't know that her mother was a witch until she was 9. Her parents didn't want to tell her when she was younger, so that she could experience the Muggle world first, just in case she didn't exhibit any magic. Her parents, Henry and Johanna Roberts, are both very loving, but a little overbearing. They can't stand the idea of their little girl out there alone, but Emilia just wants to be independent, despite the fact that she is only 11. She had trouble making friends in primary school, because she was a bit different. She didn't really like playing, and found really loud spaces completely overwhelming. So then, books were her best friends. Now that she's going to Hogwarts, she doesn't know what she's going to do. She's been reading lots of books from the Wizarding World, but she doesn't feel quite ready for this big change.
First Instance of Magic: When Emilia was 9, she really wanted the book, The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, from her bookshelf. Alas, she was too small to grab it, as her father had put it up high after catching Emilia with the book after bedtime. So she tried to stack books to use as a stepladder, but it was too wobbly and she slipped! But instead of hitting the ground, she just floated, and she was in complete shock. She screamed for her mom, who came running in quickly. When she saw Emilia just floating in the air with books scattered around, she burst out in laughter.
