Physical Description: Addison de Montmorency is an 11-year-old witch. Her build, thin and elegant, stands at one hundred and fifty-two centimetres. Her hair, loosely curled, flowing down to her waist, is the shade of a dark dried apricot. It is often messily—not severely, but to some degree—pulled back into a plait that starts at the crest of her neck. Stray curls help to form her delicate face, with a small, sloped nose, somewhat defined cheekbones, and wide lips. Her eyes—of average size—are a captivating concoction of navy blue and yellow-green, regularly left staring off into the distance. As for her attire, she presents herself tidily during school hours, loosening up in her own time. Her outfits are regularly accompanied by various accessories, one staple being a pair of dark chestnut, narrow rectangle eyeglasses.

Mental Description: Fuelled by curiosity, though occasionally strained by fear, Addison's mind proves to be quite the complex one. Holding great academic expectations upon herself, she is fortunately rather intelligent and studious. Following a similar path to that of her parents, she fostered a love for reading and writing as a young witch that has continued to present. She has also grown an immense appreciation for the arts, playing the piano at a beginner level and dabbling in traditional art.

Biography: Born to a scholarly, pure-blood family, in the aged city of Colchester, England, Addison grew up indulging in the wonders of the wizarding world. She regularly travelled the globe with her parents, predominantly exploring the magical aspects; however, her parents also held a fondness for immersing themselves in the alienness of muggle life, something that Addison attended to. When they were not out and about, Addison studied at England's Preparatory School for Young Witches and Wizards, where she performed at a high standard for her age group. Her mother—a healer with a profound interest for potion-making—and her father—a historian intrigued by intense philosophical discussions—heavily influenced her fancy for academia.

First Instance of Magic: A cool breeze swept through Addison's home on the night of her eighth birthday—as was expected on a typical winter evening. Having just feasted with her friends on her chocolate birthday cake, her parents hastily prepared the living room for all the children to sleep in. The children then tucked themselves into their individual mattresses as Addison's father extinguished the house's fireplace. Deeper into the night, while the children slept, the living room that was once warm and comfortable had become as chilling as a midnight stroll in pouring snow. After tossing and turning, Addison awoke, dismayed by the newfound frigidness of the room. In response, she frustratingly muttered, 'Ah... It is much too cold!' and coals in the nearby fireplace ignited suddenly with a thunderous crackling noise. Awaking the other children, they were collectively aghast. A night that would have previously been considered regular became one filled with shock and marvel.
