Physical Description: Hair is a warm gold-cream, waist length, falls in prominent waves over her shoulders. She has brown honey eyes. She is on the short side. Has rather bony fingers. Many moles on her body, one on the corner of her cheek.
Mental Description: Seems aloof and awkward at first meeting, but she is rather chatty and cheerful once she feels comfortable in one's presence. She tries to be kind and nice and to always get along with everyone, but if that doesn't work out, well... She just cries a lot! She has a sensitive heart. By no means weak, however. It's just in the right place.
Biography: Amaryllis was born to a pureblood family that has only recently started to adopt new beliefs. Her father and mother married because of love, which was already a defiance of tradition for both sides of the family. However, Grandma Viola has come around after so long, and has nothing but good words to say about the man Amaryllis's mother married. Mr. Florian is a magical portrait maker, which is a very respectable profession in the wizarding world, of course. As for Amaryllis's mother, Ms. Laurette, she is still working on her academic study about long lost fae myths, a never-ending endeavour that has led her to publish many a book on the subject. Yes, Amaryllis has grown up rather loved. And Grandma Viola can't say anything about it! As for the other set of grandparents, they have retired abroad and only visit during Yuletide, which is a very awkward event all-together, since the in-laws don't quite see eye to eye. It is times like these that Amaryllis proves her worth as the "glue" of the family, as the only pleasant discussion they can manage seems to be about her. She doesn't mind being loved by everyone, of course, but boy does she wish they'd get along with each other too!
First Instance of Magic: One chilly winter night when she was four, Amaryllis was in bed with a terrible fever that would not go down. Her father and mother asked what would make her feel better, and she said that she wanted to make a snowman before the snow could melt outside with the morning sun. Of course, father and mother denied her wish and tucked her to bed with another, heavier blanket. But when they woke up the next day, they found every inch of their house's interior covered in snow! They rushed to their daughter's room with great worry, only to find her making a snow angel on her bed and giggling to herself. She toothily thanked her parents for surprising her with all the snow - it was however in fact, a stubborn feverish four year old's dream that made it snow inside the house while she was sleeping! Grandma Viola was very pleased with this manifestation of Amaryllis's magic and later gifted her granddaughter a snowflake-shaped pendant that Amaryllis still wears wherever she goes.
