Physical Description: Steven is a slender boy (77 pounds) of average height (4'9") for his age. The shaggy hair that nested on top his head indicated he rarely stepped into a barber shop. Hiding behind the chocolate brown bangs were a welcoming warm pair of brown eyes. Nothing about Steven really stood out, except maybe his cheeky grin that stretched from ear to ear whenever he would bust out laughing, or a brilliant idea popped in his mind. His fashion sense was nearly non existent as most of his clothes were baggy hand me downs from his many cousins. He didn't mind, he would grow into them as mum always says.

Mental Description: Steven is a timid, adventurous, and curious soul to say the least. He some how walks a thin line of being shy and one of the most gravitated towards people in the room. Most people roll their eyes when he tells them he's shy because of this. It's his polite manners that seem to suck him into conversation as he isnt one to just walk away from someone. What ever the reason may be, a friendly people person would seem a fitting label

Then there's the adventurous side to the young boy. With a friend by his side (strength in numbers as they say) Steven always felt a bit more confident to step out of his comfort zone. The dark seemed bright, clowns became just silly things, and the unknown was inviting. That was the power his friends gave him. A haunted house? Steven is the first to enter. A sound came from the forest? He's got to investigate. Alone however the story becomes different, and he becomes the type to run in the dark just in case something was chasing him.

Much like any eleven year old, Steven is curious about everything around him. Still learning the ways of the world, the boy is constantly filled with a million questions about anything and everything. Cracking a book open and learning wasn't very high on his list however, as he much rather the first hand experience which led him to being reminded, "curiosity kills the cat" an expression he heard all too many times.

Biography: Steven was born in the evening of October 10th in Appleby England. His upbringing was nearly identical to your ordinary muggle child. His mother was a science teacher at the local grade school where Steven attended, and his father worked as a freelance journalist. The boy grew a fond over competitive sports, and found himself playing basketball as soon as he was old enough to sign up. Video games, sporting events, and a best friend by the name of Thomas who lived three houses up; that was Steven's life. All very ordinary from the outside looking in.

That didn't paint the whole picture however, in fact it was maybe an outline. You see his mother was very much so a muggle, but his father however, a squib. Magic wasn't a very big part of Steven's life, but that wasn't to say it was absent. Despite being unable to perform magic for himself, his father was still very close to his magical side of the family. The holidays with his father side (although his mothers side was pleasant too) were always his favorite. His eldest cousins would tell him about wizarding school, he learned about a new sport called quidditch, the games and toys were always better, except one Christmas his cousins got to experience a Playstation and despite everything they've seen they were blown away.

Due to his parents circumstances they never imagined Steven would show hints of magic, and because of this he raised as and expected to be a muggle. Everybodies face dropped on Holiday with his mothers parents when the gifts they gave him instantly unwrapped themselves after being told he would have to wait. The summers and any holiday breaks were now spent mainly with his fathers side of the family as it appeared Steven and his parents had a lot changing in their lives.

First Instance of Magic: Although it wasn't the first big instance the signs presented themselves bit by bit at first. Steven wasn't always well prepared when it came to his studies. He always seemingly forgot to study, or not have any writing utensils. During a a history test in first grade Steven started to worry because he forgot his pencil. He had searched his bookbag and checked his pockets a million times. Too nervous to interrupt the silent classroom he silently panicked. Before he knew it every pencil in the classroom started to suddenly vanish, and conveniently found themselves in his bookbag.
