Faith Magindara

"I cry a lot but I am so productive. It's an art!~"
"Isn't that from Taylor Swift?"
"*sweats* ...No it isn't."

*To fit Faith's personality, she usually speaks or describes in chatty purple prose.
***Temporarily offline due to academic examinations and tight Nov-Dec schedule

Physical Description:
Hair: Faith has shining, long, straight black hair. It's like waist-length black silk, untangled and smooth. She denies it, but she's really proud of her hair, always making sure to brush it and inwardly reveling in the compliments it gets her.
Face: She has a round, sweet face, with puffy cheeks, cat-like pout lips, soft-arch eyebrows and a little button nose, contrasted by her defined jawline. She has big, bright round eyes that are so dark they're almost black, constantly shining due to her energetic personality, framed by long, slightly uneven lashes.
Body: Faith's ethnicity is Filipino, so by European standards, she is rather short. She is very small and thin, but her legs are long, so it's a wonder how little she is from the torso upwards. Her stomach and thighs are a little softer, in comparison to the rest of her skinny figure.
Other: Faith is known for her 'iconic' purple glasses. She's usually seen wearing earrings and necklaces, usually paired with some sort of hair accessory. This girl always has accessories, being very girly.

Mental Description:

Sweet
Faith is a sweetheart, aiming to truly be a good soul and give a little hope and light to everyone she passes, with some exceptions when it comes to those who personally mess with her and those dear to her.

Imaginative
Very imaginative, Faith's curious and clever mind is full of new ideas.
Although sometimes, she accidentally wanders out into dreamland, needing someone to give her a little shake to pop back into reality.

Energetic
Faith is very energetic, both personality wise and in general stamina, as if she just drank a whole glass of coffee. However, she doesn't showcase the full extent of her energy, preserving it throughout the day and simply opting for a cheerful and lively attitude to go on with her day.

Clever
In a family of nerds, being called 'gifted' when compared to them is no small feat. At a young age, Faith has already won gold medals and solidified her place as an Honors student.

Prideful
Unfortunately, as much as she hates to admit it, Faith is quite prideful. It hinders her despite her good intentions, such as making it difficult for her to take criticism, and while she takes it well from a viewer's standpoint, there is a lot of internal turmoil. This becomes a problem when having to pick between the right choice or the easy choice, especially if the easy choice saves her self-esteem.

Emotional
Faith is a very emotional girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. It was easy for people to call her a crybaby, making her a target for bullying when she was younger, though it would usually be short-lived. She can't help but feel emotions strongly very quickly.

Sensitive
Very sensitive to the feelings and needs of others around her, Faith proves to be an empathetic and caring friend. However, this also makes it harder for her in terms of growth, considering she's already an emotional person. Even unrelated jokes, if seeming personal enough, can bring her to tears.

Talkative
Faith is quite the witty chatterbox, which led her to become quite the popular and social person. Sometimes, her mouth speaks faster than her brain, but usually her subconscious saves her before she says the wrong thing. If it doesn't, then...

Dramatic
Faith doesn't broadcast it, but she's a bit too dramatic sometimes. Worrying about little things, when she gets too riled up, she starts acting like her life is a K-Drama and would need a sharp response to get her back down to earth, albeit begrudgingly.

Perfectionistic
She's a massive perfectionist. Having been used to always getting top marks, Faith's pride won't ask for any less, and if she got lesser than she hoped for, her esteem plummets. She ends up looking bossy and shallow, seemingly asking too much of her classmates in group projects, but she's really just too hard on herself.

Sentimental
There's a reason why her friends call her a grandma. She's only been in this world for a little more than a decade, and she's already tearing up at precious memories to her. She's a nostalgic and caring person, always a soft smile on her face when thinking of the past.

Unpredictable
Faith is like a walking contradiction sometimes. She's clumsy, but she's graceful. She's street smar and sensitive, but she's oblivious to people around her sometimes. She's dishonest and honest. A puzzle, if you will.

Biography:
Faith is a promising young girl of English nationality, but of Filipino ethnicity, from both of her parents. Before Hogwarts, she was born in and grew up in a charming suburb in Northampton, England, in a perfectly normal loving family consisting of her father, mother, and older brother. A very sociable, bright, and bubbly girl from a young age, she was easily likeable and popular. Academics, loving family, good heart, multiple talents, and a rather adorable face, what didn't she have? A boring life. This slightly dramatic little girl is always getting a little drama in her life, one way or another. Even over something as trivial as food, but as they say, a girl's got to eat!

Multitalented, this girl has a passion for performing. Singing, dancing, ballet, acting, she's an ace at everything except for instruments! An artist at heart, she captivates with her voice, grace, and emotion- whether that emotion be real or faux. A skillful hand in writing stories, poems, and songs.

She had her fair share of typical popular elementary student troubles. Rolling her eyes at her friends' boy problems, a victim of attempted bullying (short-lived, usually because she'd tell a teacher with no shame whatsoever), her first crush being an unrequited crush on a girl, being forced into becoming the tired mom friend of her friend group because she was the oldest, just little things.

Suddenly, her life turned around when she found out she was magic. And that her mom was a witch all along and never told her. How could her parents have hid such a truth from her just because her brother was a Squib?? Typical Faith started dramatizing it again, only for her brother to step in and save the day by saying he didn't care whether he was magic or not, as long as Faith got the life she wanted.

Calming down, Faith thought it through logically. Her brother was never really a big fan of magic, nor of moving away from home, nor the type to step out of his comfort zone unless necessary. He loved his life now, with his long-term friends and easygoing life. If he had magic, he'd fear that would take away everything he has now. Suddenly, Faith worried, knowing full well just how much she'd miss her friends.

But all is righted. It was just a small misunderstanding. Now, with a little preparation from her mom, Faith is going out into the Wizarding World. As always, the young and confident Magindara is ready for anything. The real question here is, is the Wizarding World ready for Faith?

First Instance of Magic: Faith was taking a stroll by the flower meadow, looking for specific flowers. She looked around the blooms, and sighed. There were no roses out today. She really wanted to pick some for her Mother. Suddenly, roses started to bloom from her head, and Faith didn't notice. She felt her lips getting dry, so she took her lip balm and held up a small mirror, only to nearly drop it in shock at the beautiful red roses growing right out of her head. Faith immediately picked up her skirts and ran all the way home, eager to ask her parents about what just happened to her, terrified yet strangely... Mystified?
