Physical Description: Lydia is a bit small for her age, standing at just 4 feet and 5 inches tall. Her brown hair has a natural wave to it and currently sits at just below her shoulders in length. She has deep brown eyes and if she is out in the sun for long enough she gains a small smattering of freckles across her cheeks and nose. She has a small scar on her knee from an incident involving a goose while under her muggle mother's care. The woman forbade Lydia's father from healing it magickally, insisting that it was such a small thing that it could heal the muggle way, with time and a few plasters.

Mental Description: Lydia tends to be a quiet child, not overly extroverted but not opposed to larger or louder crowds. As an only child she can come off as slightly selfish at first but tends to warm up to those she sees regularly rather quickly. Lydia can be particular about how her personal items are washed, handled, and organized. When she has a moment of free time she likes to crochet.

Biography: Lydia hails from Birr, Ireland, a historical muggle town that boasts a population of roughly 5,700 people in a good year. She grew up primarily with her magickal father, seeing her muggle mother only every so often due to the divorce custody agreement and her mother choosing to live quite far away. Despite this Lydia's father did his best to embrace the muggle community and give his daughter the best of both worlds.
Lydia attended Mercy Primary School in her home town of Birr, Ireland until her letter to Hogwarts came. Her muggle friends know she is attending a boarding school to finish out her education as many of their families have chosen to do the same for them. She writes to them on Wednesdays and her father on Fridays.

First Instance of Magic: Lydia's father, Carter Hickories, was a half-blood himself and always talked about the wonders of combining a magickal and muggle lifestyle. It came as little surprise to anyone in the Hickories family that Lydia would in fact be a magickal child but this wasn't confirmed until she was seven years of age. As a young child, and an only child at that, she often was used to playing by herself and creating elaborate storylines with her dolls and teddies alike. It was during one of these times, where she was pretending to host an elaborate ball, and while dancing and spinning with her favorite teddy, acting as though he were a foreign prince, that she began to ever so slowly lift up and off the ground and into the air. She only noticed this when her father entered her room and cheered so loudly that it caused Lydia to fall flat on her bottom. Carter was quick to phone the rest of his siblings, blood and not, to invite them for dinner to celebrate.
