Physical Description: Bobbed brown hair, brown eyes, 4'11". Somewhat athletic and tanned, but mainly from playing a lot as a kid. Wants to dye her hair pink.
Mental Description: Slightly snotty but kind, overly eager, loves learning, wants to help people. Hot-tempered often, impatient, values truth and honesty. Scared of disappointing her parents, and so a massive overachiever. But also a bit of a show-off. Enjoys science, writing stories, and watching anime. Is really looking forward to learning Transfiguration and Potions, and she hopes to somehow bridge her Muggle experiences with her new Wizard experiences.
Biography: Half-blood human, some knowledge of magic before Hogwarts, but grew up in a regular Muggle community and went to Muggle elementary school. Mother is a Muggle, father is a wizard, has a younger sister named Ama (3 year age gap). Loved reading, got along well with other kids but didn't really stay in close contact with them after changing classes.
First Instance of Magic: While travelling in Ireland with her family at age 8, she and her sister left the inn that they were staying at for the night and went to play at the local cemetery. As they were playing hide and seek, a huge black dog came out from behind a tree and began approaching them, growling. Terrified, she grabbed Ama and ran towards the exit of the cemetery, only to find the gate locked. She panicked, looked back at the dog prowling closer and closer, when Ama cried out, "The gate is gone!" When Sao turned back, the gate had indeed completely disappeared, and they ran all the way back to the inn, shut the door behind them immediately, and burst into tears to their parents. After being scolded by their parents for playing out on their own, Sao found out that the disappearance of the gate had been an instance of accidental magic. When it had happened, Sao had been too panicked to think, but now that she had time to reflect, she was glowing with pride, and she could tell her parents were, too.
