Biography:
The Volpe family is an ancient and prominent one in Florence, Italy, proudly tracing their lineage back to the mid-1400's and widely regarded for their early financial and artistic contributions to the booming Renaissance which would soon span across all Europe. One of the family's most notable members, Simonetta Volpe, was known throughout Italy as a great beauty of her age and the muse for several renowned artists, modeling and serving as the inspiration for a number of illustrious Renaissance paintings.

Born into this aristocratic family close to five centuries later, Antonio Volpe enjoyed a privileged upbringing, allowing him to pursue his engrossing passion for fashion as a career track. With the backing of his family's copious financial resources and connections, along with his flair for artistic creativity, his Volpe brand would rapidly rise in popularity and acclaim and, before long, was competing with other Italian industry giants such as Versace, Gucci and Armani. It would be during this rapid rise to fame that one of his employees would catch his eye -- a young woman named Giulia.

In stark contrast to Antonio, Giulia did not come from a wealthy family -- in fact, quite the opposite. Giulia lived in a small apartment with her parents and three siblings, all of whom worked hard to keep the shallow, roof over their heads in the cramped space. Antonio and Giulia's initial romantic liaison briskly bloomed into a serious relationship, much to the dismay of Antonio's father who vehemently opposed the match, expressing that it was beneath his son to be involved with a woman of such low social-status. His father's objections fell on deaf ears, however, for Antonio's mind had been made up -- though, perhaps spurred on out of pure spite for his father's stern disapproval. Perhaps altogether too quickly, Antonio decided that this was the woman he wanted to spend his life with and so, in spite of the deepening tension within the Volpe clan, Antonio and Giulia were married within the year.

On October 21th, 2012, Vittoria came into the world, just moments before her twin brother Alessandro, to the delight of her newly-wed parents. Throughout the twins early years, Vittoria and Alessandro were nearly inseparable. As children, the pair looked so similar that even their parents weren't able to tell them apart. On numerous occasions, they would dress in each other's clothes and spend the entire days pretending to be the other. The first eight years of Vittoria's life were the happiest and child could hope for. She wanted for nothing, living in a lavish paradise with a loving family. However, nothing gold can stay.

As the Volpe fashion brand continued to blossom into a luxury international commodity, life at home began to grow tense. Much to the dismay and confusion of Vittoria and her twin, their parents began to bicker; at first about creative differences regarding work, but before long, about anything and everything. Then, it was not just bickering, it was heated, full-on screaming matches that would go on for days at a time. Helpless, Vittoria and Alessandro could only watch as the fabric of their family was torn apart at the seams before their eyes; until finally, both parents reached their breaking points. An ugly divorce ensued, during which it was decided that Antonio and Giulia would each take one of the twins with them in the divorce; from then on, Alessandro would live with Giulia and Vittoria would live with Antonio. This cruel and traumatic twist of fate involving the violent and abrupt separation from her beloved twin, as well as the loss of a steady maternal figure in her life, would go on have a profound impact on Vittoria. No longer would she be the happy, kind-hearted child she had once been.

Unable to face his family after the messy divorce, Antonio decided to start a new life and took Vittoria to Scotland, where he continued to expand his fashion brand. For months, Vittoria merely existed, a shell of her former self, hardly eating or leaving the house. [This period is when Vittoria's first instance of wandless underage magic occurs -- see details below.] Desperate to improve her mood, Antonio began to use his wealth to spoil Vittoria rotten with lavish gifts, extravagant shopping sprees and anything else he could think of in order to attempt to lift her spirits. It was a slow process, one that Vittoria initially attempted to resist purely out of spite, but over time, she grew accustomed to this extreme doting and quickly learned how to manipulate her father like a puppet. As she became increasingly comfortable getting, doing, or saying whatever she wanted without consequence or repercussion, her personality became fractious, impertinent and ruthlessly willful.

By the time she was ten, after some not so subtle encouragement, she 'convinced' her father to expand his fashion brand into children's' clothing lines as well. At this point, having developed into a subjectively beautiful young girl, though perhaps due to a small dash of nepotism, Vittoria stepped in front of the bright lights of the camera and began a stint as the starring model for this new branch of the Volpe brand. As one might imagine, this sudden flood of newfound attention and sycophantic adoration did nothing to stifle her rapidly inflating ego or sense of vanity.

Physical Description:
Vittoria is described as having high-boned cheeks, fair skin and pouty, full lips. Her lustrous hair is the color of rough-spun gold and her eyes as vibrant and azure as the petals of forget-me-nots. Though slender, her form carries an elegance that belies her youth, her movements languorous and slow with practiced grace. Many can be beautiful, but some possess something even more -- an appearance so enchanting that it sears its imprint into brains of many who gaze upon it like eyes gazing into the sun. Once a muse to photographers as a child model for her father's Volpe fashion brand -- just as her ancestor, Simonetta, was once a muse for Renaissance painters -- she maintains a glamorous allure along with a beguiling smile that cuts like a knife. [[As a human, I would like to choose/apply for 'Lovely Creature' for my ability.]]

Mental Description:
Vain, egocentric, manipulative and prone to unpleasant behavior. Speaks English well, but in with a pronounced Tuscan accent. See more details in biography.

First Instance of Magic:
Vittoria's first instance of underage, wandless magic came when she was nine years old, living with her father in Scotland. Though she was generally morose and depressed for a long stretch of time after the separation from her twin and mother, in a rare moment of furious, uncontrollable energy, while unburdening herself and screaming at her father about allowing the destruction of their family to take place, she unintentionally shattered all of the glass windows on the second story of their home. Both Vittoria and her father were stunned and speechless after this sudden happening and her father hastily chalked it up to some sort of minor natural disaster. They found themselves even more shocked, however, when a 'professor' from some boarding school neither of them had ever heard of called Hogwarts School For Witchcraft and Wizardry promptly arrived at their doorstep to explain what had just happened and what Vittoria's destiny held in its future.

While at this new and foreign magical school, it is an undeniable certainty that Vittoria will soon be forced to confront the earth-shattering reality that the universe does not, in fact, revolve around her and, for the first time, just like everyone else in the world, she too will face trials and tribulations, some of which will be well beyond her control.
