Physical Description: Rose is pale skinned, with a pink tint to her skin that gets more red the longer she is in the sun, with a smattering of freckles across her nose. She has long red hair with fringe and hazel/brown eyes with super long eyelashes. Her hair is thick and tends to go all over the place. She is short for her age and on the thin side.
Mental Description: Mentally, Rose is pretty happy. She does have a good deal of anxiety which can make her bossy and controlling but she is also very affectionate and sweet. She tends to get super excited about things she is interested in. She is very imaginative. She can also get emotional and cries easily, whether due to sadness or to anger, which frustrates her! She is quiet and shy until she knows you, then she will talk your ear off! She loves reading, learning, animals and nature and the water- whether it's a pool or the beach. She also loves storms even though they scare her.
Biography: Born to Muggle parents in Dublin, she lives with her mother and an older brother in Dublin. Her father regularly visits but his work has him away from home for long periods. She went to the local school and also took dance and karate lessons- the dance was her idea and the karate was because her beloved older brother was enrolled. She is the first in her family to be magical, though her Aunt Kat, her mother's older sister, who lives in the countryside outside London, is a witch and so her family was delighted when Rose showed her first signs of magic and her mom and aunt talked to her about Hogwarts. Aunt Kat came up to spend the summer before Hogwarts with the family and to take Rose to King's Cross.
First Instance of Magic: At the age of 3, her brother, James , started school. On that morning, as he left with their father, she started to cry and became more upset once he was gone. She tried to follow them and her mother stopped her. At that point, she became frantic and started screaming and all the lights in the house flickered and the glass in the windows nearby shattered. Fortunately, the glass breaking distracted the girl and her mother was able to quiet her and then call her Aunt Kat to discuss whether this could be magic in her little girl.
