Personality
Angélique might love a good book, but that does not make her particularly studious. She would much rather be out and about learning on the job than holed up in a dusty library, even if she does like the quiet. However, she’s prone to panic, proven to be problematic when facing dangerous situations which happens often when doing field work. She has a nervous demeanour and prefers a few close friends over a large group of acquaintances. People describe her as quiet and polite, but her close friends know her as a chatterbox and a jokester.

Biography
Born in the Bretagne region of France, her parents immigrated when she was 6 years old to Ireland where they settled in Ballycastle. She is wizard born and an only child, and has a good relationship with her mother, the owner of a cafe in town, and a somewhat okay relationship with her father, a local builder. On the weekends and school holidays, she helps with the dishes at the cafe, earning herself a Galleon here and there.

First Instance of Magic
Simply enough, while doing dishes at her mother’s cafe, she accidentally dropped a tray of dishes. She watched the teacups and saucers break and scatter across the kitchen floor and shut her eyes when it made a crash. When she opened them, the dishes were dried and polished, but most importantly intact and without so much as a crack, stacked neatly on the tray back in her hands.
