Hi, my name is Iris, and I am from Scotland. My long blonde hair is often pulled back and out of my face when I am out and about (I love to wear a bow and scarf in it). I got my eyes from my mother but my cheekbones from my father. I am short, but I can compensate just fine for that height challenge with heels and boots. Stepping away from appearances, I love baking, reading, exploring, knitting, and listening to podcasts. I love history, so you will often find me with a history podcast queued up for my next listen. My favorite thing to bake is cakes for special occasions (or just for fun), as a homemade baked good makes someone's day. I also enjoy listening to music; my Spotify playlists are a gateway into my soul. Scottland offers so many different adventures, and I love discovering new places. I love reading historical fiction or fantasy novels since they allow me to escape another time and world. I also enjoy traveling in the car or to further locations, whether around Scotland. I love to watch soccer (Visca Barca) and Formula One. I am looking forward to making friends and learning at Hogwarts! I first noticed odd things happening around me when I was five. One day, my dog and I were playing outside when I overthrew the ball over the fence. As I went to get another ball, the ball I had thrown returned to me like a boomerang! I grew up in a close-knit family, with my parents working at the university and having friends who were like family. I went to primary school at Daily Primary, where I made some amazing friends to whom I am so sad to say goodbye. My parents and I spent time in Spain at my grandparents' vila on the Mediterranean Coast. It is there that I learned how to swim and where I rode a bike for the first time. I will miss my family dearly, but I hope the friends I make along the way will become family!
