Biography: Walter grew up in Cardiff, Wales. He is muggle born so the Hogwarts representative who visited him came as quite a shock. But, he was curious about the world of magic he would be introduced to. He also hated his muggle school so it sounded pretty cool to him that he would get to start over in a new place. He is an only child and lives with his mother and father in a pretty average flat. His mother works in a supermarket and his father is a builder.
First Instance of Magic: His first instance of accidental magic was when he was 8 years old. It was his birthday and his mother had made a cake for him. When he went to blow out the candles all the lights in the room and the candles accidentally went out. When his father switched the light back on the whole cake had vanished!
