Layla has light blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a purple birth mark on her forehead however this is becoming less visible as she gets older. Her DOB is 14th March 2013.

Layla is very kind and extremely creative, she loves reading and working hard. She expects the library will become one of her favourite places in the school.

Her family are muggles so she did not have any idea of the magical world, her parents did not know it existed and where shocked but pleased for her when she got the letter. They are very nice friendly people, she has 3 siblings, Evelyn, Violet and Rupert. Her mother is called Rose, and her father is called Isaac. Despite being a witch herself Layla fears her siblings may be squibs and she will be attending Hogwarts alone. (Rupert and Violet are magical Rupert is 8 and Violet 6.)Some of her favourite famous witches and wizards are, Harry, Ron and Hermione along with Remus and Sirius and Neville Longbttom.
She has become very interested in magical beats after finding out theyre real and is excited to read Fantastic beats and where to find them by Newt Scammander.

Layla first used accidental magic when spilling a cup of tea in her kitchen. This was when she got angry at her brother Rupert. There have been many times when plates and cutlery have accidentally been smashed. This all happened when she was 6.
