Mental Description:
Atreus is a pretty normal kid despite being teased and pranked a lot by his father as a child. He would cry when he was upset and laugh when he was happy. Having a very loving mother helps him to understand how to convey his feelings into words, but he just decides not to most of the time.

Biography:
Atreus's relationship with his father is incredible. His father was a professional Quidditch player and would be away for a long time when he had matches. He retired after playing as a professional for 17 years. As a child, Atreus had a poker face, barely showing any expression at all. He rarely cried when he fell down or smiled when his father made jokes. This made his father frustrated and worried. His father often pulled pranks to draw some expressions from him. Every day he would torment his beloved son with pranks and never stopped. It became a routine as they constantly pranked each other, and his father missed Atreus dearly when it was time for him to go to Hogwarts or when he was away for Quidditch matches.
Atreus’s mother was very loving and warm; she would soothe and comfort him whenever he was upset after being pranked by his father, and then she would scold his father. She was a safe place, a comfort for him, and also a great teacher. As a Potioneer, Atreus’s mother was very knowledgeable and taught Atreus everything she knew. His love for potions and herbology was deeply influenced by her.
Being the son of a professional Quidditch player meant he learned about the sport since he was a toddler. He almost never missed his father's matches. His father taught him everything, and Atreus—just like his father—loves the sport very much.

First Instance of Magic:
Atreus was 4 years old when it happened. It was summer in their hometown, Culloden village in Scotland. One morning, his father told him that he was actually adopted and that he found baby Atreus under a bridge. This made Atreus really sad, and he couldn’t sleep during his nap. He decided to take a walk as he thought about being adopted by his parents. He walked around the fields by himself while crying.
As he walked further away, he found a creek and played by himself on the bank. He saw a big tree with a rope hanging from the top branch and lit up immediately. Happily, Atreus grabbed the rope and started to swing to the other side of the creek, but sadly, he lost his grip and fell down on the shallow creek bed. When he stood up, he was surprised to find himself unhurt and dry; it was weird since he felt like he had landed on a pool of pillows. Not long after, his parents found him and returned him home.
Apparently, his father was lying about him being adopted, which made him even more upset, and it took his parents a long time to finally convince him and make peace. Yet, he still thinks about it.
