Physical Description:
Zoey Ross is a girl slightly shorter than the average length of 11 year old girls. She has light brown, wavy hair that just reaches her shoulders. She actually needs glasses, but hates to wear them, so her parents told her to wear contact lenses.

Mental Description:
Zoey is a very outgoing girl, she loves to make new friends, although she can be a bit shy in new places with new people when there is no-one around that she knows. So she is kind of scared though to go to Hogwarts, as it is the first time she will go somewhere without her parents.
Zoey is also caring, she hates unjustice and likes to help others. She also loves to play games with her friends. She isn't to interested in sports though, it can be fun, but she isn't that competitive.
She does have a few fears. She doesn't like the dark, for instance, and snakes are her worst nightmare. And even though she won't admit it, because it is "childish", she is often scared of ghosts.
Further, she is like any 11 year old girl, energetic and playful

Biography:
Zoey is a muggleborn witch. As far as she knows, there is not a single witch or wizard in her family. She has always lived with her parents, older brother and younger sister in the city of Falmouth. She had a small group of good friends at her school, with which she had lots of sleepovers and other fun moments. Besides school, she takes violin lessons. She newly joined a karate class too, but she isn't that good.
Because Falmouth lies besides the sea, she has sailed a lot with her family. This has always been one of her favorite things to do, until she once fell overboard. It wasn't that bad, because the water lay flat and her father immediately fished her out of the water, but it still left an impression on her.

First Instance of Magic:
In the winter of 2021, when she was 9 years old, it was raining in Falmouth (as always). Everyone was sad that there wasn't any snow.
One day Zoey had to walk to the store to buy some groceries for her parents, and again, it was raining. It was almost impossible to avoid the enormous puddles. Eventually, she gave up on staying dry, and walked straight through all the puddles. Suddenly, she didn't hear the splashing of the puddles anymore, she stopped walking and looked down, only to see that where she placed her foot, the water had turned into a small pile of snow. She took another step and saw snow emerging where her foot had touched the puddle.
She thought it was very funny, and didn't think much of it. She figured it was some weird phenomenon that she hadn't learned in school yet.
After a few weeks, she forgot about the event.
