Background story:
Lucien Morningstar comes from a long lineage of a pure-blood family. His family estate, Morningstar Manor, is a grand, ivy-clad residence nestled amidst the serene landscapes of the Lake District in England. Its surroundings include expansive woodlands and a tranquil lake. Lucien lives with his mother, his grandmother, and his twin cousins. The twins’ parents work for the International Confederation of Wizards and often travel abroad for extended periods, so they are entrusted to their aunt and grandmother. Lucien’s father died when he was four years old due to a dragon-related accident. He was a magizoologist specializing in Dragonology. Although Lucien does not remember his father well, he has grown up reading his works, which have deeply influenced his interest in magical creatures. Lucien spends his childhood exploring the woodlands with his cousins. The age gap between them is only a few years, so it is natural that they have become best friends. They occasionally find magical creatures and bring them back home as pets. His mother sighs every time they return with puffskeins on their hands.

First instance of magic:
One morning, on his sixth birthday, Lucien was wandering the woods by himself when he climbed a tree to reach for a bowtruckle. As he extended his hand towards the creature, a branch suddenly snapped beneath him, causing Lucien to lose his balance. In a split second, he felt himself slipping, but just before he hit the ground, a soft, warm wind enveloped him. Instead of the painful impact he had braced for, Lucien gently floated down to the forest floor, landing with a soft thud on a pile of fallen leaves. Thrilled to have encountered his first instance of magic, he rushed toward the manor to tell his mother, forgetting the bowtruckle that was still hanging on the tree branch. From the next day onward, he was able to join his cousins in their private tutoring sessions with their grandmother and a family friend.

Personality:
Lucien is a curious and determined young wizard. The family has a small tradition where he and his cousins compete every couple of months to test their magical abilities and knowledge. He is always driven to win every competition, though it is really challenging because his cousins started learning magic long before he did. Lucien is not the type to make friends easily, but once he forms a bond, he proves to be deeply loyal and supportive. His thoughtful and observant nature allows him to be sensitive to others' feelings, making him a comforting presence. He is a confident boy who does not care about what others think of him. As long as he is not causing any harm, he will continue doing what he likes.
