Physical Description: Fluffy, light ash brown hair, heterochromia (left eye is green, right eye is brown), medium skin. Height is 4"4, so fairly short for his age. A little on the skinny side. Usually wears comfortable sweater and jackets when outside of school uniform.

Mental Description: Shy and sweet. Usually has a stutter when around new people, but when he's familiar with someone he can be pretty sarcastic and friendly. Always willing to help others, even if it might set him back. Observant, but can be naive and a bit of a pushover. Will stick up for others but not for himself. Enneagram 9w1.

Biography: Apollo was born into a Muggle family, with his mother, father, and older brother. He has a close relationship was his parents, but that pales in comparison with the bond he and Sylas, his brother, have. Sylas is five years older than him, but that age gap does nothing to hinder their bond. Apollo's family are the only people to have seen the playful and sarcastic attitude behind Apollo's nervous and timid nature.

Apollo's mother, Astra Starweaver, is a painter and loves learning about flower symbolisms. She wasn't the most successful artist - not many of her paintings even sold - but she loves painting anyway and wouldn't trade it for the world. She always taught Apollo about the meanings of different flowers, and also inspired him to get into sketching and drawing. Apollo's father is a simple office worker, but he enjoys cooking and experimenting with different recipes. He loves making his food a little more spicy on April Fool's to tease his family.

Sylas aspires to be a songwriter and perform concerts one day, and he knows how to play the bass guitar. Apollo loves listening to him practice new songs, and Sylas even bought a ukelele for Apollo's ninth birthday, when Sylas began teaching Apollo how to play a few simple songs. Needless to say, Apollo had a very happy home life.

Unfortunately, at school he didn't have very many friends - actually, none at all. He was bullied for his stutter and timid nature, and mainly called him names. They became bolder as they got older - shoving him around, targeting him in dodgeball, ripping up his sketchbooks, etc. Apollo never told his family or teachers about the bullying though, not wanting to make a big fuss about it.

First Instance of Magic: One day, when he was 9 years old, they had a field trip to the park. One of his bullies thought it would be a fun idea to push him down a small incline so he'd get dirty and have to climb back up the small slope. In that moment, when Apollo looked up at the laughing bullies with tears, he wanted nothing more than for them to just go away and leave him alone.

And at that moment, one of the bullies' hair burst into flames. Instantly, all of them screamed, desperately trying to put out the fire. Eventually, they managed to put it out, with minimal injury, but Apollo couldn't help but feel like it was his fault. It seemed the bullies agreed, because they called him cursed and ran away from him.

After that incident, rumors spread, and everyone at school avoided him for fear of getting set on fire too. It didn't help that the girl who had her hair set on fire now had a permanent burn scar on her forehead - it wasn't too serious, but it was definitely noticeable. Apollo had gotten what he wanted, essentially, but it somehow felt worse. Instead of laughing at his misery, now they feared him. It wasn't a nice feeling...
