The Evercoat family are a pure-blood family. Our family went into hiding 150 years ago because of people’s threat. The Evercoats has a long line of dark wizards and witches which made people thought that the Evercoats were dangerous and they threatened them. My great-great-great Grandfather, Fince Evercoat, decided to hide for exactly 150 years until the Evercoats were unknown.

I encountered my first magic at the age of 5 when me and my mother were walking through the busy Diagon Alley. It was a very sunny evening and I was excited by my mother’s idea of bringing me to a shop. When my mother asked if I wanted to accompany her go to a shop, I was over the moon. I never went outside of our manor before so it was a total exhilarating experience for me.
After 10 minutes of walking, my mother and I stopped at a bookstore. She loved reading and always bought books whenever we go out. I took my mother’s hand in mine.
As I was looking through some books, I found a book that piques my interest. However, it was on the highest shelf and I can’t reach it. My mother was also very busy with her own business and I didn’t want to bother her so I jumped and jumped to get the book but alas, I still couldn’t reach it. Frustrated, I stared at the book the suddenly, the book floated towards me. My eyes widened when the book slowly floated down on my arms.
My mother was proud at me, Then, she gave me a pat on the head and said: “Good thing you managed to get the book” she smiled.
