Physical Description Ruby is a ginger haired girl with streaks of gold, which people often associate with her pure blooded genes. She has fair skin and rosy red cheeks. She has soft freckles and smile lines which are quite prompt when she smiles. Her canines are more like fangs along with her sharp teeth resemble that of an animal. Ruby's eyes are a aspen green with speckles of hazel in them.

Mental Description: Ruby is a very stern and straight forward girl. She doesn't joke or mess around much and when she does it can be creepy in ways. She finds joking is a waste of time and Ruby much prefers to be honest. She does have social anxiety however; causing her to be very nervous all the time. She is good friends with Rowan Swallow.

Biography: Ruby's family are pureblooded hufflepuff's. They are very big on animals over plants and spells. That's why when their main family line was cut off, the next generation of her family had to choose a new last name. They settled with Finch. Her parents are passive aggressive and tend to favor her older brother Connor. She is thrilled to be going to Hogwarts.

First Instance of Magic: Ruby was taking a walk near her favorite river, reading. When the book got to the heavy part in the chapter she was reading, she wasn't paying attention properly and dropped her book. She screamed when she dropped it in the water, mortified that she lost her favorite book when suddenly it flew out of the water at her, completely dry. She got her letter two days later.
