Ever a boy of courtesy, Seán W. Beresford is the one to gripe to if you're bedridden and don't get enough consolation flowers. He might send them to everyone he knows, but he really means it when he writes, at the end of the letter, that he hopes you get well soon. Well, at least as he's writing it down, that is.
That is not to say that he is kind, nor am I saying he is unkind - his disposition against the world is quite odd and ungrasped by his peer, a wary, lukewarm demeanor that betrays his often seemingly altruistic actions (that come from a sense of duty, obligation and habit rather than 'good of heart', for whatever it means, yet) and broad, beatific smiles that punctuate his rather few words.

He enjoys interacting with others and making them happy very much, though he prefers to spend time with a good novel all the more. Another odd angle of his personality is that he is certainly more comfortable with adults rather than his peers, which occasionally worries his parents some, but he behaves well enough to quench their worry so.
Although hard and slow to anger, he seems to have trouble keeping it from showing on his face blatantly when he does get angry, even if he doesn't actually lash out because of it.

He is such a bibliophile that it's odd he hasn't gotten glasses yet; he has stacks of too-hard books he admittedly cannot even ("just not YET!") comprehend, and claims with joyous anticipation that he most certainly will study all of them as he gets older. He pulls them out and flips through them occasionally, though whether or not he gathers any of it or just looks at the illustrations is unclear.
...He also loves sleepily carrying around an armful of oversized stuffed animals and cushions when nobody else is around, which he will likely deny to oblivion if asked about.

He can be seen humming simple, lyric-less tunes and chipping away on small stacks of paper with doodles of diagrams, infographics and (rather childish) drabbles about absurdly specific academic subjects on the rare occasion that his hands aren't  already occupied with a book.
