*Phoenix is a half-blood*

Phoenix Valentina Suzuki was born in London, England on February 14, 2012. She was born a half-blood to her muggle-born mother and pureblood father, a couple who defied the standard with 1, their blood status and 2, their race. As well as being born a half-blood, Phoenix was born half-Japanese and half-Mexican.

She was an only child (if you excused their newborn kitten, Circe) and her life was full of spending time alone. Coming from a rich family (as her father's side were talented wand and broom makers whilst her mother's side was full of famous Muggle musicians and people of the arts) she was never truly alone, as their house elf, Tufty, made it her mission to spend as much time with the girl before her impending departure to Hogwarts.

Despite the lack of siblings, Phoenix's parents tried to make it up to her by allowing her to spend time with all her Muggle school friends, giving her an allowance as well as a curfew of 8 pm on school nights. All in all, Phoenix was a very well-educated student. In terms of Muggle subjects such as mathematics, literacy, science, the arts, etc., she excelled. Even in subjects, she wasn't allowed to learn (Charms, Potions, Transfiguration), her parents never failed in teaching their boundaries to make sure their daughter got a head start in school and life.

Phoenix's father, Ryu, always prided himself on his Quidditch abilities. He grew up with a large family and as a way to pass time, they would always play the sport. Ryu passed his skills onto his daughter, allowing her to become as fully immersed in the sport as he.

Natalia, Phoenix's mother, was almost completely different than her husband. She was, unlike her family, a witch and had taken a special liking in healing. This matched with her personality and academic life in Hogwarts, and staying true to an alumni-Ravenclaw, she excelled in the classes necessary to become a Ministry Healer.

Phoenix herself was a beautiful girl. She had type 2 hair that framed her face almost perfectly. Her tan skin was clear of blemishes and her natural blush always found its way to her cheeks. Phoenix's lips seemed to be full of colour and plump permanently. Her eyebrows were filled and dark and straight. Her doe-eyes were full of life and sincerity, a contrast to the deep chocolate colour.

Any time anyone saw Phoenix, she'd always wear her mother's necklace. It was a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation, however, the odd thing about the necklace was the fact that the gem in the shape of a heart that sat at the end of the silver chain seemed to change colour depending on the environment in which it was in.

It was October 31, 2018, when Phoenix (age 6) showed her first sign of magic. Her family had hosted an All Hallow's Eve party in an ode to their favourite celebration, and all the guests had already left when magic was shown.

Throughout her entire life, Phoenix's parents were worried about her absence of magical abilities. Ryu and Natalia had left their daughter's room for half an hour to clean up all the decorations and food, leaving Phoenix all alone. It was then that she saw Tufty enter her room. Tufty had been instructed to watch over Phoenix, as she was quite a troublemaker when left alone. However, Phoenix felt the urge to be left alone.

So, she raised her hand, and Tufty later claimed a huge gust of wind began to push at her, despite the window in the room being closed completely. Tufty battled against the wind, but to not prevail. She was pushed out of the room quite hastily, the door slamming in her face.

Inside the room, Phoenix's eyes were widened. Yes, she was finally alone, but where did that wind come from? Her heart was unmistakably racing as she stared down at her perfectly normal hands. Immediately, she felt a surge of power. Phoenix knew what was to come and how powerful she would be.
