Avery is 4 foot 10 inches tall. She has a light skin tone with a few light freckles on and around her nose. Her hair is light brown wavy and just above shoulder length. She has grey-blue eyes and long dark eyelashes. She wears glasses that are round and have a dark purple frame.

Avery is quite shy and doesn't speak much. She is caring and compassionate. She finds it hard to make friends and suffers from social anxiety. She loves reading and is a very studious girl. She is very intelligent and wants to work as a healer after leaving school. Hobbies involve caring for pets, going on walks and playing chess.

Avery has two muggle parents and has lived her whole life in Bath, England. She lives in a small but cozy cottage on the outskirts with her family and pet dog. She has two younger sisters called Eve and Maud who haven't yet shown any signs of magic. Her family life as a young girl was very enjoyable as her family are all very close. She spent her childhood summers near the coast with her cousins. She has a few close friends who she trusts a lot but some of the time as a child she felt left out and lonely. Her close friends and family call her Ave.

Her first experience of wand-less magic happened at the age of 7 when she was playing with her sisters in her garden and she fell out of a tree but when she landed, she found that the grass below her had turned into a sort of trampoline and when she hit it she bounced right back up without injuring herself.
