She is a small female, with green eyes and dark ginger hair. When it is sunny, she has freckles. Being quite small for her height, she is 4ft 7. Her hair is almost always in plaits, because it is the only hairstyle she knows how to do.

She is a bubbly young girl, who is extremely excited about learning magic and experiencing a whole other world. She never felt like she fit in at school, and cannot wait to meet others like her. Her excitement is evident, as her father says she cannot stop talking about Hogwarts and how she cannot wait to be there.

Being adopted, she only has one father, and he is extremely supportive of her situation. Of course he was a little shocked at first, but he always knew she was different, in a good way. She doesn't remember much of her childhood, just remembers the home she lived at. It was never a bad experience, but she always wanted somewhere to call home.

When she was 9 years old, she was waiting for her father outside of the corner shop with a lollypop. A young lad her age stole the lollypop and, she glared at him angrily. All of a sudden, his hat lit on fire, causing the young lad to drop the lollypop and run off towards his mother. Jami was extremely confused about this, but her father said the top of his cap could have caught the light......
