Luna is an 11 year old girl with dark brown curly hair and dark brown eyes. She is of average height, and can usually be seen wearing comfortable/casual clothes. She has small gold earrings that resemble pawprints, along with a sliver horseshoe pendant and a charm bracelet.
Mental Description:
Luna is a kind-hearted soul. She can sense others emotions easily, and emphasize with them just as well. She is usually quiet and shy when you get to know her, but she will become more open with you as you gain her trust. She loves animals and nature, and always keeps handy a little brown notebook full of sketches. Sometimes she spends hours outside, intricately drawing a flower, or watching the wild animals go on about their day.
Biography:
Luna lives with both her parents (Oliver and Emily) and her brother (Liam) on a farm that’s around 15-min ride away from the coast. They raise many animals, such as cattle, goats, chickens, horses, and they also plant many crops. Both of her parents are wizards, as is her brother, but both of her mother’s grandparents are muggles, and her father’s grandfather is also a muggle. She has a border collie named Sadie, who works on the farm a sheep herder, and a calico cat named Lily.
First Instance of Magic:
Luna’s first accidental underage magic happened when she was 8 years old. She was sketching horses in the pasture, when one of them got spooked and jumped the fence. Worried for the damage that the horse might do to other things as well as itself, Luna tried calling for help, but her mom was too far away to hear her, and her dad wan’t home yet. She decided to calm the mare on her own, but she wasn’t having much success, until she saw green tendrils shoot from the ground, planting the mare to the soil and immobilizing her legs. Luna’s mom came up running up to shortly after, fussing over her to check for bruises or cuts. She sighed with relief as she noticed she was fine, and became very interested in the strange green shoots that wrapped around the horse’s legs. She suspected it was her daughter’s magic, and she was just as excited as Luna to finally know for sure that Luna would be going to Hogwarts when she was of age. During dinner, Luna told her father, and he was proud of how she handled the situation, and excited for her to go to hogwarts as well. Her parents send an owl letter to her older brother in hogwarts. He was happy that they would be able to go to school together soon, and even send her a small list of a few basic wand spells.
