Mental Description: Before the winter of 2022, Costanza was what her parents considered to be the perfect child. She was polite and well-spoken, optimistic and full of interest in the world. It was only after her magical identity revealed itself did Costanza begin to morph. One would not be able to overestimate how deeply she retreated within herself, almost becoming a different person entirely. The girl entering Hogwarts is a new introvert, a body that plays host to some brewing primordial anger. She is too afraid to act out against her professors, but friends? Non-existent. Peers? She's a bit too rude to them. Housemates? They know her as the girl in the corner of the common room who glares at anyone who comes too close.

Biography and FIOM: If you somehow managed to catch Costanza in a conversation and asked her about her life before Hogwarts, she would describe is as absolutely perfect. Born to two medical professionals, she grew up in a white two-story that was better than what most of Falmouth had to offer. Even though her parents were busy with their work, they always made time for her and indulged her in their favorite activities. Her father introduced her to the tabletop games he played with his co-workers and her mother made sure Costanza was always sat next to her when reruns of Gilmore Girls and Star Trek were on. They took her out often to places like St. Mawes and Mallet's Cottage so the trio of them could just breathe air away from their life in the town. A child will want what they do not have but for Costanza, even back then, she longed for nothing more than her home, her town, and her parents.

As her eleventh birthday fast approached, her parents decided to gift her a Dungeons and Dragons night with her friends from school. Her vast imagination inherited from her storyteller parents adored the idea and the party was held a couple weeks before her birthday. The night was fun and thrilling and Costanza was far too into it. Carried away by her emotions at her friend's character dying, she brought her hand down on the table in anger at the loss. It wasn't a forceful slam. Her small fists couldn't do much damage. Yet, they did. Character models, stacks of character sheets and backstories, the DM's screen. They all went flying.

The next day, a messenger from a so-called wizard school appeared on their doorstep. After the reveal of Costanza's abilities, she watched as her mother's face ran pale. The woman left her husband and daughter immediately, citing an emergency at work. When she returned that night, she could only beg for her husband's forgiveness. Costanza did not understand in the moment, but when her father left home and didn't come back for over a week, it was time for her mother to come clean. She had apparently been having a long-term, on and off affair with a man. A man that was a wizard. A man that was her biological father.

And so, Costanza was sent to Hogwarts. In any other circumstance, she would love being at a school for learning magic. But in her mind, she could never separate the school from the trauma that brought her there. The very castle she was standing in was a reminder that the past she had so adored would never be hers to go home to again. Things were going to be different now. She was different now.
