Physical Description: Eden is a shorter-than-average witch, about 4'6''. They have jet-black hair in a pixie cut with the tips died turquoise. They change the color from time to time. They are reasonably skinny, but not extremely so. They have fairly even freckles on most of their body, and their skin is an olive tone. They have naturally dark brown eyes, but sometimes wear contacts to make their eyes match their current hair dye.
Mental Description: Eden is a fairly quiet student who isn't great at making friends. Despite their quiet nature, they're academically-minded and excel in most classes. When they are talking, they can often come off as insensitive or sarcastic. They tend to mix up words or think too long about what to say, and will retreat from an interaction if they are made fun of for speaking in a certain way. They sometimes have panic attacks in stressful situations but are good at managing it from experience.
Biography: Eden was raised by their two mothers in the small village of Lavenham. One of their mothers was from a family of magic-users, while the other had come from a family of muggles. Eden is an only child. Before Hogwarts, they spent most of their time gardening and befriending animals. There were a few other children in the village, and Eden befriended one - a girl named Brynn Alder. Brynn was a muggle, and they drifted apart after Eden's first instance of magic. Eden is careful about making friends because of how things ended with Brynn. They have an elderly cat named Basil at home.
First Instance of Magic: Eden's first occurrence of underage wandless magic happened in the garden when she was seven. They were planting a new cilantro plant with Brynn when the herbs around them began to grow uncontrollably. They wrapped around Brynn and Eden's arms and legs, pulling them down into the soil, as if trying to plant them. Eden called for their parents, and their parents were fortunately able to dispell the wild plants. Obliviators removed the incident from Brynn's mind, but Eden began to avoid her for fear of hurting her. Eden kept mostly indoors and in the garden after that point, afraid of accidentally hurting anyone else.
