BIOGRAPHY
On the 31st of December, 2011, Jing was born to a Chinese immigrant named Min Liu (father) and an English mother named Alice in London, England. Her older brother, Lei, was 7 years old at the time. Her early education was taught by a private tutor. As a young child, she was regarded as quite the bibliophile. As a result of her upbringing, she did not interact with her peers frequently and relied upon her brother to share his wisdom about the outside world. However, despite her family being pure-blood, Lei sparked his little sister's curiosity about the Muggle world through sharing his studies while he was attending at Hogwarts.
FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC
Around the age of 6 years, Jing was nearly crushed to death by a falling bookcase. She had been attempting to climb a bookcase to reach a novel that was on a higher shelf. Unfortunately, the bookcase was quite ancient and rather unstable, thus tipping over due to the girl's weight (despite being light). Thankfully, her magic saved her, preventing the bookcase from falling down entirely, and she was able to crawl out from underneath it unscathed, although quite frightened. Ever since, she always checks the stability of the bookshelves she browses.
