Mental Description

One noteworthy characteristic of Katie is her tendancy to gossip. Whether it's discussing a girl she admires, expressing disdain for a particular boy, or even delving into the intricacies of her own family dynamics, Katie is undoubtedly a gossiper. She uses her astrological sign, Libra, as an excuse for her behaviour, but her friends know that this is just one of the characteristics of Katie.
Aside from just being a gossiper, Katie has been known to have a very keen eye, and for her ability to truly pay attention to the smaller details of things. Due to this, she has quite the interest in art as it allows her to scale in on those minute details rather than a mathmatics, or science, based subject.
Katie is known for her tendancy to be indecisive over every little decision she has had to make in her life. "Slide or swings?" "Hmmm slide, no swings, no definitely slide, oh but I love swings!" Biography
Born to her loving wizard mother, Penny, and muggle father, Arnold, in the deep autumn of 2013, Katie had a rather normal life at first. Initially, she lived life as an ordinary child in muggle Swansea, Wales, where she experienced the typical joys and challenges of a childhood untouched by magic. It wasn't until her first instance of accidental magic that her life took a magical turn, marking the end of her existence as an ordinary muggle child.
For the first eight years of her life, Katie was the cherished and sole child in the family. However, her familial dynamic underwent a delightful shift with the arrival of her younger brother, Ellis. Later on in the same year, the family experienced another shift, this time one not so delightful as the marriage of her mother and father ended. It was incredibly hard on Katie, as she had formed quite an emotional connection with her father, unlike baby Ellis, who may not end up remembering the few months the pair spent together.
Katie, during this time period, distanced herself from her mother, beginning to hate her for leaving her father. She shut her mother out of her life, the woman's name beginning to leave a bad taste in her mouth. Yet she felt that she could not navigate her life as a newly-discovered wizard without her, so she had no choice but to put on a mask of tolerance around her.
In her eleventh year, Katie experienced two significant events that would shape her life. Firstly, her new stepmother entered the scene. It had taken Penny some time to find a new partner, but a mere three years after her divorce from Arnold, she extended an invitation to Anne to become a part of their lives—Katie, Ellis, and hers. Secondly, a pristine envelope stamped with crimson red wax was slid through their home letterbox. The envelope was from none other than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This marked the beginning of Katie's educational journey into the arts of magic and the start of her independence as a witch.

Katie's first accidental use of magic happened during a play date with her muggle cousin Olive in the year 2019. The pair of children were colouring in together, and Katie needed the green crayon, which was still in the box that just so happened to be out of her reach. As she wiggled her small fingers closer towards the box, slowly getting more adgitated by the crayons being just out of her grasp. She groaned with frustration and the box of crayons seemed to burst open, the colours inside rolling all across the table.

Physical Description
Katie most certainly inherited a large majority of features from her mother Penelope, these features being her large brown eyes, freckles, slightly stuck-out ears and rich brown hair. She is incredibly proud of her hair, often adorning it with multi-coloured barettes or headbands.
