Roman is a child of average height, although his scrawny nature can make him look taller at times. He has dark red, almost purple, wavy hair, that reaches down his chin. He hardly ever wears it up unless the activity called for it. Roman has incredibly dark blue eyes, full of curiosity and interest, gained from his mother, much to her delight, while he gets his face-full of freckles from his father's side of the family.

Roman grew up in a rather unusual way, due to his rather unusual family circumstances. His mother comes from a family of Pure-blood witches and wizards, yet their youngest daughter unfortunately turned out to be born a Squib, unable to do any magic of her own. However, they loved her all the same, and made sure to give the best education in the muggle world they could, while also teaching her about the wizarding world in ways they could, mostly through private tutoring, and sharing of her siblings' Hogwarts textbooks.

While she didn't get her dream of being a witch, she did grow up to attend a very prestigious muggle university, and later on became a doctor in the muggle world, much like her life dreams of being a healer at St. Mungos.

During her early schooling, Primrose Honeycutt would meet her future husband, Nathaniel Adams, who would go on to attend Hogwarts as a Muggleborn wizard. They never lost contact, and often spent the summers together, the two families sharing their opposite, yet similar, circumstances with their children, and growing close as a result. He would later go on to work at the Ministry of Magic, at the Department of Muggle Affairs.

After their marriage, they welcomed their singular child into their lives, Roman Adams, who would be the apple of his grandparent's eyes. He spent his days going to the same Muggle school his mother attended, while spending summers in various camps for his interests, visiting his family, and occasionally going to Diagon Alley with his parents.

He loves sports, playing soccer on his school team, yet also excelled in his classes, often spending time reading, learning about both worlds, both so filled with wonder. In fact, his first accidental magic was because of his reading! He was so engrossed in a book on magical creatures that he didn't even notice a volume across the room had begun to float; not until his mother walked in and nearly had a heart attack!

Of course his parents, and the rest of the family, would have loved him no matter if he was magical or not, but to say that tears were shed on that day would be an understatement, especially by his mother. Since that day, he's decided that he will also work at the Ministry, but to offer more protections and assistance to Squibs... After all, not everyone has a family who is so understanding of things beyond their control.
