Nellie is quiet and reserved. She loves to read. It takes awhile for others to get to know her, but once they do, Nellie can be funny and more outgoing.
Biography:
Nellie lives alone with her muggle mother in the English countryside. Her father passed away when she was young, but her relationship with her mother is strong. They have two dogs, Tad and Lila. Every year, Nellie and her mother make hundreds of jars of jam to sell to their neighbors nearby. People say that it is the best jam in all of the UK. Nellie doesn't have many friends back home, but she is close to her neighbor, Charlie. They enjoy talking and playing games in the fields nearby.
First Instance of Magic:
A grumpy man came one day to buy two jars of strawberry jam. He was entitled and wanted to test it first to "see if it was worth the money" so he opened up the jar and stuck his finger in to try it. He made a big show of spitting it out and calling everyone who said it was good a liar. The man then refused to pay for the jar that he opened and started to leave for his car. Nellie was angry and upset with his rude behavior and she felt a spark of energy burst through her. The next thing she knew, all four of the man's tires on his car blew out.
