Lily Mae is a Black British girl born in London, England to Euphemia Mae and an unknown suitor. Lily Mae's mother is a prominent figure in the muggle and wizarding world. In the muggle world, she is a famous actress and singer while in the wizarding world, she is known as a very powerful witch.

Lily is nothing like her mother and she makes it a point to make sure everyone knows that. From the young age of five Lily has been known to be very rebellious. If her mother wished for her to wear a dress and heels then she would wear shorts, sneakers, and a tank top. Her mother, being at her wit's end had it with Lily's behavior by the time she was eight.

It was at this time that Lily was sent to live with her father, a man she had never met and/or thought about. Lily only imagined that he had been a terrible monster that lurked under her bed waiting to eat her but, that was in a dream. When Lily arrived at her father's house she was presented by a man who looked nothing like a monster that would have been underneath even the meanest of children's beds.

This man had kind eyes, those eyes filled with tears the moment he laid eyes on her. His smile went from ear to ear and Lily could see the dimples in his cheeks, the same ones that she brandished. There are not many words to describe the feeling she felt without it being too complicated. In short, Lily felt as if she were finally home. Jonah Brixton, her father was the complete opposite of her mother, he was kind and patient and known around the wizarding world to not have been a very good person until around the time Lily was born.

The first instance of Lily's magic came the same year on her ninth birthday. She was at a skating rink with her muggle friends Lily was skating alongside two of her friends. One of her friends lost their balance and almost fell but Lily accidentally stopped her from falling and hitting the ground with her magic.

On Lily's eleventh birthday, she got a letter stating that she had been accepted into Hogwarts. Neither she nor her father were very happy about this even still, her father thought it best that she go and get her education there. When Lily walked through those doors she only had one thought, she would not be like her mother but instead, like her father. She would follow the path that he had set for her or die trying.

And so, the sorting hat was placed on her head and it declared...
