A few OOC infos to ease communication:
Reducio
  • I operate under the CET time-zone (currently CEST/UTC+2);
  • I'm always open to a new RP opportunity so feel free to owl me if you've got an idea;
  • I reserve myself the right to refuse a RP idea if it's inconsistent with Danny's history or personality;
  • I can't guarantee to be available during weekdays, so it's likely that I take some time replying to your owl and RPs might be slow-paced;
  • Unless otherwise specified, owls/PM are OOC (mostly used to determine RP parameters and Daniel might not be the most cooperative conversationalist).
Have a great game!

Danny grew up in Fraserburgh, a town north of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. His father, Michael Spence, is an engineer in sustainable development technologies and works in a wind turbine maritime plantation which substituted to the oil rig by the coast of Aberdeen. As such, he is often away and Daniel lives with his mum, Ciara Bancroft, a marine biologist.

Ciara herself is a native of Fraserburgh; her parents own a small bakery which also supplies the Lighthouse Museum where she works. Danny is well-cared for, doted on by his grandparents and his multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins; it's quite common to see him pedalling around the town with his friends. A footie fan and somehow popular with kids his age, he's a mischievous little boy, who loves a good story and is always up for an adventure. His mother often joked that he would one day hop on a ship and disappear without a warning—she never expected a fudgin' magic school to whisk her baby away first.

Few people are aware of this new development in Daniel's life; sworn to secrecy, Ciara and Michael only disclosed the information to Ciara's parents. The thing is, a muggle-born kid's magical abilities can easily be passed as coincidences and eccentricities. Some people might indeed believe in magic, if old Mhairi Bancroft is to be believed—but even then, nobody's that fond of learning that a whole parallel society has been living right next to you in the utmost secrecy.

While Michael seemed to take the news in stride, Ciara was more reluctant to let her son go wild in a universe she knows nothing about, in a school that doesn't even teach maths to A-levels. Danny himself is not that enthusiastic to leave his life behind but a magic school sounds way more interesting that normal school and hopefully wizard kids know how to mess around with a football.

And hey, maybe he'll get to meet one of these wulvers his Auntie Mhairi told him about?
