Physical Description: Nyx has shoulder length, slightly wavy, honey blond hair. She has white skin. Her eyes are hazel, appearing to change between different blues, greens, and greys depending upon her surroundings. She wears light blue glasses, as she is nearsighted. She is average height, a bit on the thin side.

Mental Description: Nyx is a creative girl, in both the arts as well as problem solving. She likes to keep to herself, often lost in a daydream, but is always willing to help others. She loves school, and has been considered a bit of a teachers pet. Nyx is very optimistic, always trying to see the best in every person and event. However, Nyx deals with slight depression and anxiety, as well as an extreme fear of storms. She doesn’t like to show this to others, afraid they’ll judge her or that she’ll make them feel worse. Nyx is a natural musican, with a mezzo soprano singing voice.

Biography: Nyx was born to Asher and Sandy Flamesong, on May 6, 2012, as their first daughter. They have since had 3 other daughters and two sons, making Nyx the oldest of 6 kids. Nyx grew up in England, but moved from place to place, until they settled down in Bucklebury in 2019, with both of her parents working as teachers in the local public school. The Flamesong’s have a family pet, a dog named Daisy, who Nyx loves. Nyx has always been a bit of a loner at school, but made friends through the music programs her school provided. Nyx has taken various music lessons, mostly vocal and piano, all of her life. Nyx knew nothing of the magical world until she received her Hogwarts letter.

First Instance of Magic: Nyx’s first instance of magic happened when she was 6. She was carrying a stack of glass dishes to the table at home, when the dog ran over to her to play, causing her to trip and fall. Nyx nearly dropped every single dish, but somehow made the dishes float, keeping them from breaking.
