Biography: Maddox grew up in a house with his mum, who is an author and used to be a professor and his father, who is a professional Quidditch player who plays for the Wasps. His mum is Moore Clapp and his father is Demetri Clapp. He has an older brother who graduated from Hogwarts. His brother was a Slytherin. He also has another older brother, who is a fourth-year Slytherin at Hogwarts. His eldest brother is Kurtis Clapp and his other brother is Silas Clapp. Maddox has always wanted to be a Magizoologist and has always found a liking to animals. His father used to have a Niffler and his mother had a liking for cats. Maddox also plays the viola, and is quite skilled. It is expected for Maddox to be sorted into Slytherin as all of his family had been in the house, sans for his mother who was in Ravenclaw.

First Instance of Magic: At age nine, Maddox felt a great fear of the dark. He could never sleep alone and always wanted someone to watch him fall asleep so he did not experience nightmares.

One night, his mum and dad were asleep and so were his older brothers. He had stirred awake with a sense of fear churning in his stomach. As he got a glass of water from the kitchen, he thought he heard something.

...what was it? Maddox glanced in fear, and he heard a rustling noise again. It continued until it nestled into his ears and infested as a ringing noise. When his parents had come to the kitchen in concern and turned on the lights, they saw a broken glass.

His parents had been alerted by a loud noise of Maddox's screech as the glass cup had broken in his hand and a shard infested into his palm... however, somehow, the wound was not bleeding. The shard was just inside his palm, and when his mum pulled it out, it seemed to be just fine.

What had he done? And how did he manage to do this? Fear had overcome all his senses and a sort of magical flight or fight response invoked in him. He had gotten so scared that he managed to break the glass without applying any pressure, and when the shard penetrated his hand; it had caused no harm.
