Lillian B Inkwood is, in many ways, a typical young witch. Her parents own a lovely little tavern called The Blind Basilisk in Dumbarton, a small town in Scotland not too far from Glasgow. She grew up working in the tavern alongside her parents, and has met many a traveller in her days. Being about four feet six inches (137 centimeters), Lillian is not yet tall enough to serve customers, but can still help with cleaning and the like. She has an athletic build from all her time hoisting barrels and working around the tavern. Her hair is long and auburn, with blonde streaks near the front she had to beg her mother for months to get. She has eyes of a soft green with flecks of brown and gold that are a bit cold.

Growing up surrounded by bar patrons does not do easily on a young girl. Lillian is quite tough and blunt from dealing with so many grouchy adults through her formative years. She has a soft spot for animals of all kinds and wants desperately for a pet or two. Her dream is to work with dragons or rare beasts while traveling the world and she studies quite hard as a result.

When one comes from a long, long line of magical folk, it is not unexpected that they themselves will be magical as well. However, it did come as a shock when the curious toddler wandered into the tavern and was nearly crushed by a barrel of ale that was knocked loose - but managed to fly into the air and hover until her father could run forth and catch her.
