Physical Description:
Gorman stands shorter than most their age, just barely reaching up to 4'5. Their green eyes peek out from under a mess of brown hair, which has been haphazardly cut to just above shoulder-length. They have a round face with plump cheeks and a little birthmark under their right eye. If you happen to catch them wearing a rare full-toothed smile, two joyful dimples appear at the corners of their mouth. Gorman prefers to wear a more androgynous style of clothing, opting for a casual style of a button-up shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes.

Mental Description:
Out of all of their siblings and friends, Gorman tends to be labeled as the "brains" of the operation. They have always exceeded in their schooling, especially Maths, and they enjoy reading in their spare time. However, Gorman is also bit of a worry-wart, and has a bad habit of overthinking things. When they gets into an anxious mood, they like to either escape into a fantastical novel or spend some time with their family dog. Gorman is very patient with most people, except for their siblings, who they will bicker with at any given moment over any given thing. In the end, Gorman still loves their family, and will follow their siblings around on whatever mischievous adventures they get up to.

Biography:
Gorman grew up in Rainsworth, England, just outside of Mansfield. Gorman's mother, Terra Crane, is a Gryffindor who had an affinity for potions. She became an accomplished potioneer and a member of the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers. She met Gorman's father, a muggle named Sean Crane, when she got lost while touring in Dublin and he offered to give her a lift in his car. The couple married a couple years later, and had their first child soon after.
Gorman has two older siblings -- a brother who is eight years older, and a sister who is seven years older -- who both attended Hogwarts. Their brother, Eugene Crane, was a Ravenclaw and a chaser on the Quidditch team. He was a well-known strategist, and became the Captain in his seventh year. Gorman's sister, Ruth Crane, was a Gryffindor who shares her mother's affinity for potion making. Gorman loves both of their siblings deeply and idolizes them, often attempting to imitate them in their appearance, interests, and hobbies.
Growing up, Gorman's father had tried to insist that Gorman attend a normal muggle school before they went to Hogwarts, but after Gorman began to show signs of magic when they were four, their father relented and allowed their mother to hire a tutor to teach them instead.
Gorman's tutor was a twenty-something year old woman from Scotland named Jennifer Corpin. Jennifer was an unregistered werewolf who has struck a deal with Gorman's mother -- in exchange for tutoring Gorman until they received their Hogwarts letter, Jennifer would receive seven wolfsbane potions each month and would be provided the family garden shed as a safe place to transform on the nights of the full moon. Jennifer was always kind and gentle, and would often teach Gorman in the garden of their family home on sunny days.
Gorman has two close friends -- Annie Clarmont and Benjamin Reeves. Annie is Gorman's cousin on their mother's side, and a wizard born witch. Annie moved to America with her parents when Gorman was 9 years old, but the pair still exchange owls and see each other over the holidays. Benjamin is from a muggle family and lives just down the road from Gorman's family.

First Instance of Magic:
When Gorman was four years old, their mother had tried to dress them in an itchy wool-lined dress for a family dinner. Gorman threw a tantrum and in their fit, managed to accidentally shrink the dress so small that it wasn't even able to fit over their foot.
