Elio was considered tall for only being 11, 4'9. his cinnamon color skin, lanky arms and limbs always stood out among the thick forest. With his short pristine white hair and moss green eyes with thin lips and large ears when cleaned up it was hard to recognize the midday version from the night-time version.
An shy boy who was far too scared to venture out of his comfort zone, he didn't understand how to make friends due to his isolation. very curious and quite. soft spoken and reserved, but very smart. he spent most of his free time either out with the animals and trees or inside his bed with a book.
Elio grew up surrounded by books and nature, he was a boy who very much loved bed time stories and swimming in the waterfall down the path to the berry bushes and his mothers pies and meeting new animals. he never interacted with other people due to his father keeping him at home with his younger sister. his mother would make pies and dinner with whatever the family had found while his father would take him and his sister, Fern, off to find new plants and animals to study. Elio and Fern never went to school rather their father would teach them about the natural world.
when Elio was 8 he nearly fell from the top of a yew tree and his sister had screamed as he fell, causing his mom, Eleanor, and Father, Corio, to come investigate only to see their son floating in a giant bubble until Corio grabbed him. later that night his father explained that magic was not to be used unless he was in imminent danger. everything was to be done by hand until he attended Hogwarts. Elio agreed and never tried using it out of fear of disappointing his father.
