Physical Description: Veil is Male, maybe Demiboy or other (questioning now that he has more time to discover himself on his own), using he/they pronouns. He stands at about 4'9" high. Oftentimes his left eye will be covered by the green color of his dyed hair, which ends with two longer strips on either side of his face in the front, and a ponytail in the back. He has very pale skin, blue eyes, freckles, and often holds an unsure expression to his face. His smile is a rare sight to see.

Mental Description: Veil lacks a lot of confidence in himself and his abilities. He holds himself to a high degree as a pure-blood, but doesn't understand why the "social hierarchy" is the way it is. He's very quiet at first, but once he's grown fond of someone, he's more talkative. He's a good listener, but has a horrible memory. He's straightforward, but is quick to be very panicked and disorganized if he thinks he has or will offend someone.

Around someone he thinks is cool or he has a "crush" on, he'll be fairly transparent. It's hard for him to not be straightforward, or try to be, but will stumble over his words a lot around them. With transparency mentioned, he can't tell a lie, or at least not for long.

Biography: Before moving to England, Veil was born and lived in Germany until he was five. When he was close to a "schooling age," his parents had decided to move to England where his mother's parents lived. Homeschooling is frowned upon in Germany, and his parents weren't about to have him educated with muggles. So he was home schooled up until his letter, educated by his parents, taught to speak more fluently in English, and had him living in a magic atmosphere the best they could. He was raised strictly, but carefully. His parents love him too much to watch him fail.

Being taught the magic was in his blood, that he would have it eventually, and if he didn't have it--there would be problems. So he was obvious anxious to get it.

Family-
Ludwig Durchdenwald: Father of Veil. Ludwig is strict, often holding Veil to a high standard. He was raised that way, so he raised Veil just the same. He cares too much about Veil to let him be treated like a muggle, a lower being. Veil just doesn't understand his father.

Taylor Durchdenwald: Mother of Veil. Taylor is always there for Veil when he needs a break. She'll of course remind him how important it is to not fail as a pure-blood, but only after he's gotten his break. Veil is constantly in a battle with resentment and appreciation towards his mother.

Mia and Noah Warnes: Mother and father of Taylor. They love Taylor too much to do anything that would upset her and spoil Veil whenever they can.

Friends- Being home schooled and lacking the social skills to make them, Veil didn't really have any friends. The closest friends he had were two wild ferrets he'd run into when he'd go outside.

First Instance of Magic: When he was nine, he'd been out for a walk to find a natural place to write, something to inspire him. However, while crossing the street, a driver wasn't paying attention, and had kept driving towards Veil as he crossed the road. The driver noticed him too late, still blaring the horn as he was a few feet away, and slammed on the brakes. Veil panicked. He looked away, holding up a hand as if it would protect him from the metal box, preparing for the impact- But it never came. The car stopped completely. In an act of shock and fear, Veil ran away back home, explaining to his parents in a mess of words what had happened. After the incident, his parents took it upon themselves to go with him on his outings to ensure there wouldn't be another incident. If anyone ever accused them, they would deal with them carefully.

Yes please: Writing, ferrets, classical/quiet music, and origami. Visiting the library and reading/books. Closed areas (preferably three directions block, one opening), such as closets, under a bed in the corner, etc.

No thank you: Anything sports/active, failure, crowded areas, and fighting/arguing. Cats, loud sounds (especially car horns), and winter.

Line examples-
They must think I'm weird.. Quick say something cool.
"A ferret ran into my foot once."
..What-

"Ah.. You're talking to me? Are you sure?"

"Ponytails aren't girly- Hair doesn't have a gender, does it?"
