Mason was born on November 21st to two Muggle parents. He lived a fairly ordinary life as a young boy; he did well enough in school and spent his free time reading or playing video games or playing outside with friends. Occasionally, odd things would happen to or around him that he couldn’t explain, but other than that, his life had always been unremarkable and typical.
Mason has always craved adventure and loves fantasy stories. He’s always wanted to travel during the summer or maybe go to a summer camp or do anything exciting, but his family never had the money for vacations or summer camps or things of that nature. Mason could only find the adventure he craved within books, games, or his own imagination.
That is, until Mason’s Hogwarts acceptance letter arrived. After his special messenger explained everything to him and his parents, Mason began to prepare himself not only for his very first trip, but for a trip to what was practically another world.
The only thing that made him uneasy was the fact that he’d be separated from his friends during the school year. He explained to his friends that he’d be going to a different school than them for secondary school- which was not a lie, but Mason felt guilty not telling them where he was really going.
Mason is very curious; he loves adventure and discovering new things, so naturally, he’s very excited to be at Hogwarts. That said, new situations make him nervous just as much as they excite him. He does best when he has a friend with him- which he unfortunately doesn’t have since it’s his first year at Hogwarts.
Mason is very extroverted and friendly. He’ll try striking up a conversation with just about anyone if they look friendly, and he never wants anyone to feel left out. Mason will stick by and defend his friends no matter what, and he always puts them first. However, he can come off a bit strong sometimes, causing others to sometimes think he’s odd, and he can be a bit too dependent on others. He doesn’t like being alone for too long.
Mason is a realist- he’s not overly optimistic, but he’s not a cynic either. He generally sees everything for what it is and can see the good and bad in things.
Mason is 5”1’ and has blue eyes, freckles, and curly brown hair. He’s chubby and round-faced and has a gap between his front teeth.
