Before Hogwarts, Daniel was your average 11 year old, hanging out with friends, complaining about long math assignments, and playing soccer with his friends. Well, that's what most of the world saw anyways. Being a halfblood, Daniel grew up surrounded by magic, and learned at a young age to keep it a secret, especially when he started showing powers too. He was very quick when it came to showing abilities, and also learned how to keep these abilities in check, but that didn't mean mistakes didn't happen. He would still take the blame for mishaps but he was quick to explain them as something else, from attempting to scare his friend or to throw paper at someone (who he would apologize to immediately). Receiving his letter made him ecstatic, and he can't wait to start school.
Daniel is a half-blood boy, born to a muggle father and a wizard mother. He has blonde hair and green eyes, leading to him looking a lot like his mother, but his wavy hair and a lot of his personality comes from his father. He tends to wear short sleeved shirts or sweaters (if it’s cold) matched with jeans and simple sneakers, but he never EVER wants to wear plaid, because he hates it. Why he hates it no one really knows though. He’s a bit on the shorter side, but he believes that he will soon sprout up and become as tall as his father, who is 186 cm. Like his father, Daniel is determined, and loves to learn and to solve problems. He also enjoys fixing things as well as creating new things from broken parts. He is full of excitement, wonder, kindness, and bad puns with other assorted jokes sprinkled in, which both of his parents encourage greatly. Because his father is a computer tech, Daniel knows a lot about computers. Or, as much as an eleven year old can really know about the topic. His expertise is more self proclaimed than anything, but he still knows quite a lot. His mother is a caretaker for magical creatures, and because of this she’s a bit protective, of both her animals and her son. This includes stopping him from attempting to ride dragons, despite immense protests from Daniel each time. However, she is what allowed him to have such a strong moral compass which he follows in almost every single situation, as well as his compassion for other people as well as animals. Overall, Daniel is an excited kid who loves creating, learning, animals, and magic, in the muggle world and wizarding world.
