Sylvia is around 147 centimeters in height, and despite all the time she spent in outdoor activities, has relatively light skin compared to her peers. Her hair is straight and blond, which is the color of radiant sunlight. She also possesses a pair of deep brown eyes, which makes her seem more perceptive than the others.

Sylvia is a highly introverted and independent individual. Due to her rather isolated upbringing, she learnt to think for and look after herself at a young age. However, this trait of hers also led to her being somewhat distrustful of all others (except herself and her parents) when meeting them for the first time, making it hard for her to accept others help or depend on other people for a solution. Therefore, she may comes across as self-centered and unsociable to some. Despite her serious personality, she’s also known to have a strong sense of dark humor, manifesting itself in being extremely sarcastic about people or things that she dislike.

Sylvia spent most of her childhood in a secluded mansion, located on an unpopulated rural mountain. She is the only child of her parents, and despite the fact that both of them have quite a few siblings, Sylvia has never seen much of her relatives because of their terrible relationships. She hasn’t spoken to almost anyone her age before she went to Hogwarts, and instead spent huge amounts of time either reading and studying with her parents or playing outdoors under the daylight, roaming the mountains and valleys nearby freely.

One day, when she was 8 years old, a few foreign visitors came to the mountain that she lives in for photography. Because she hasn’t met much visitors for a long time, her natural instinct is to hide somewhere immediately. Unfortunately, every shrub nearby is way too low for her to be unseen. Amidst her growing fear, the shrubs around her suddenly sprang to life, and grew about half a meter within seconds.
