Annona was raised in a very small town in Ireland on her family's farm. She moved to Dublin shortly after turning 11 and the the change was very difficult for her. She is a very quiet girl with a soft smile and understanding personality. Her affinity with animals and love for nature made her sort of an odd ball at school, and earned her quite the unflattering nickname of Nona-The-Phona because the kids in her class spread a rumor that she was only pretending to be a real girl, and that her eccentric mother had put a spell on one of their family chickens. And with this letter from Hogwarts, Annona is beginning to think that they might not be all that far off. 

Annona was born in the fall on a crisp autumn night, and her name comes from an edible fruit that is most plentiful during autumn. Her parents, Cherry Rowen and Paul Rowen met in college and fell in love over one rebellious summer. Cherry was born into an all wizarding family and Paul was, to say the least, not. His parents are white collar republicans who have a strong belief in the church. Their parents only got over their differences once little Annona was born. No one could argue while holding the blonde bubbling baby who seemed to light up the autumn night like a summer sun.
