Origin
Renata Hawkins was born as an only child to middle class muggle parents in Bristol. While the family’s financial situation was never extravagant, the Hawkins planned for and invested much into their daughter’s education. In fact, when the acceptance letter from Hogwarts was delivered, they were none too pleased. It was only after much convincing from Hogwarts and eventually Renata herself that they agreed that the school was the best place for her. Their condition was that their daughter perform up to their expectations academically even if she were away from home. 

Description
Renata is quiet and serious-minded. Her humble origins have taught her to match her ambitions with an even greater resourcefulness. She tends to alternate between active observation of her surroundings and withdrawing unawares into her own thoughts. One of the qualities she subconsciously finds useful is that she is unusually perceptive and can have uncanny insights into people and various situations. This ability is usually made benign through her strong values and genuine compassion for others. She has a chivalrous streak that compels her to aid the downtrodden and will reluctantly admit she is a romantic at heart. Though Renata is gentle and soft-spoken, she becomes unabashedly stubborn and assertive on matters she considers herself to be in the right.
