Backstory
Lilura was born to two pure-blood wizards, her mother is a woman from London, while her father is an African man. Her mother is named Hecate, and her father is Kamau M'Baku. Her family is from high society and has taken plenty of turns in its bloodline. They started as pure-blood wizards then, as pure-blooded wizards were now difficult to find after the witch trials, they became half-blood. It was just recently that they became pure-blooded again. Lilura and her twin are from that younger generation of new pure-blood wizards in the family. The twins are almost inseparable, and no, they don't look the same. Lilura has a lighter skin color while her twin, Jelani M’Baku, has a darker skin tone with green eyes. They're both very different in many ways.

Hecate Ashridge, a girl who graduated from Hogwarts, used to work. Yes, she is rich, so why work? Well, she just wanted to go explore the world now that she was out of school and was a grown woman who had her own mansion. She was a Magizoologis, so she liked traveling to places, so it was not as if she was at home, she was always exploring and surviving in different conditions out there. She had then been given the news of a Nundu that had walked into a wizarding village in Africa, so she transported as fast as she could to get this very dangerous creature away from the village... It took her a lot of effort and skill to get the Nundu to walk away and leave the village. This is where she met a very tall and good-looking man named Kamau M'Baku, and a successful man who worked at the Ministry as an Auror.

The two started well in their relationship, but it was mostly a romantic one because of how it started. One could say it was love at first sight. The weird thing was that it worked out. They started a relationship and got to know each other through dates or, as Kamau would call it, by courtship. Kamau was clearly a more traditional man, while Hecate was more free-spirited. They could visit each other often thanks to how magical transportation worked. The couple, after a year of relationship, got married in a traditional African way, of course, it was just one big wedding and they moved into her mansion back in Hereford. She also kept her last name, changing it to Ashridge-M’Baku. There, after some time, she was pregnant with their first child. They thought they would have only one, but they turned out to be twins, an amazing surprise for the couple. Once the twins were born, they named one Lilura and the other girl Jelani, as they decided to let them keep the M’Baku last name. It was not as if the family was poor or had a bad reputation, just that Hecate wanted to keep her last name in honor of her family, but she had also accepted her husband's last name. Hecate had, by this time, decided to leave her job so she could care for her children.

Lilura grew up like any normal child, having a great childhood full of magic moments in her family mansion in Hereford, but she leaves to visit her grandparents in Africa from time to time, loving to be out there in the village. Unfortunately, she does not know much of her paternal language. There are just a few words she could say, unlike her sister, who could talk and understand, while Lilura could only understand the language but not talk, and it was difficult to communicate with her. Her father's side of the family was not happy about it as they wanted her to speak the language just like her twin...

When she experienced her first magical abilities was back in her mansion were she was playing gobstone with her sister Jelani, Lilura got mad at her sister for always winning and making the gobstones explode when she was just 6 years old. The exploding took the twins off guard and sightly scared them as they weren't expecting such a thing to just happen out of the nothing. Hecate was just outside attending to the creatures they have at their home when she saw what happened walking up to them, to say the least Hecate was surprised at such outcome but she simply warned them both using her wand to repair the gobstones for them.

Lilura was a little late bloomer compared to her twin who experienced it before her back in Africa, it was to no surprise to anyone, Jelani loved being away with their father's side of the family visiting very frequently unlike Lilura who would prefer to be with her mother side of the family in London or her mom mansion in Hereford.

As to be expected, Jelani was admitted into Uagadou while Lilura was admitted into Hogwarts when they were of age. Jelani was the pride and joy of her father while Lilura was her mother's. Her mother was so proud that Lilura got admitted into Hogwarts and would tell her stories from when she was in school and how perhaps she could get to meet the children of her classmates or get reunited with her family from her side. It was difficult for the twins to part ways but they knew they could send letters to each other from time to time, it was their time to create their stories by their own.
