✧ Appearance and voice
Quite tall for his age (174 cm), Simon has brown hair, dark and moderately thick eyebrows, deep blue eyes framed by long, dark eyes lashes. He has slightly full lips and a square shaped face. His voice, undergoing the throes of puberty, rumbles slightly deeper than most of his peers. His muscle growth has slowly begun.

✧ Personality
Simon is an ambivert. He is calm and thoughtful but can be daring and determined, acting quickly when the moment requires it. Loyalty runs deep in his veins, and his moral compass guides his actions. Simon is also intrigued by the unknown and can be quite fearless, for better or worse. Despite being both intelligent and analytical, he is comparatively rebellious for a Ravenclaw, making him somewhat of a misfit. His desire to fit in while yearning to embrace his individuality is a constant battle for him. Simon believes that the world would be better off if people were just a little kinder and more respectful to one another.

☞ People usually see him as this steady rock that you can count on and feel safe around, not only because of his height, but because he makes people around him feel calm. However, some think that he is somewhat mysterious. What he does not say or express likely adds to this aura of mystery. Others describe him as orderly and polite, which Simon silently takes as an insult, because he believes these traits to be synonymous with "boring". In reality, as those closest to him knows, he has a good sense of humor and rarely says no to an adventure.

✧ Biography
Simon's upbringing was a blend of comfort and adventure. He grew up in an upper-middle-class household with two loving yet overprotective parents. Surrounded by Muggles in the heart of the Scottish countryside, he got to witness the sting of injustice. The sight of a bully picking on a smaller kid disturbed him deeply. From a young age, Simon wouldn't hesitate to defend his values or those in need, even if it meant taking a few punches. These experiences, along with his mother's passion for social justice, shaped his values and world view strongly. He carried his empathy into his Muggle school, where he learned more about the inequalities and struggles faced by many families.

✧ Family
Simon's father works at the Ministry (Department of International Magical Co-operation). His Norwegian Muggle mother is a professor in Social Anthropology at the Queen Margaret University. Simon has a 20-year-old social-media-obsessed squib sister who is developing her own beauty product brand in London. They used to be close, but she has drifted further away after his Hogwarts acceptance, a silent rift growing between them. Simon's grandfather was a successful entrepreneur and merchant in rare and exotic wood materials. He died in a mysterious fire that burned his shop to the ground. Simon’s grandparents on his mother's side live in Norway. Simon also has a morepork owl named Hoax, known for being exceptionally emotionally intelligent.

Finding friends to have fun with beside his studies, people with whom he feel he can be his true self, not only stick to that well-mannered and orderly middle-class boy he is known as. Another ambition is to use his growing knowledge, insight and wisdom to help the weakest and poorest in society. He would love to study the Wizarding world the same way his Muggle mother study the social world of the Muggles.
