✧ Appearance and voice
At fifteen, Simon stands nearly 6 feet tall (180 cm) and carries himself with a grounded presence. He is still a bit lanky, but his frame has started to fill out since last summer. He has a square face with a sharp jawline, dark hair, and thick, heavy eyebrows. His deep blue eyes are framed by long, dark lashes, and his voice has become noticeably deeper this year.

✧ Personality
Simon is calm and thoughtful but can be daring and determined, acting quickly when the moment requires it. Loyalty runs deep in his veins, and his moral compass guides his actions. Simon is intrigued by the unknown and can be fearless at times, for better or worse. Despite being both intelligent and analytical, he is comparatively rebellious for a Ravenclaw, making him somewhat of a misfit. His desire to fit in while yearning to embrace his individuality is a constant battle for him.

✧ How others perceive him
People usually see him as someone you can count on and feel safe around, not only because of his stature, but because he makes people around him feel calm with his grounded demeanor. However, some people find him mysterious and puzzling. What he does not say or express likely adds to this aura of mystery. Others describe him as orderly and polite, which Simon silently takes as an insult, because he believes these traits to be synonymous with "boring". In reality, as those closest to him knows, he has a good sense of humor and rarely says no to an adventure.

✧ Biography
Simon's upbringing was a blend of comfort and adventure. He grew up in an upper-middle-class household on the Scottish countryside with two loving yet overprotective parents. Surrounded by Muggles, he eventually learned more about the injustice and inequalities faced by many Muggle families. From a young age, Simon wouldn't hesitate to defend his values or those in need, even if it meant taking a few punches from bullies. These experiences, along with his mother's passion for social justice, shaped his values and world view strongly.

✧ Family
Simon's father works at the Ministry (Department of International Magical Co-operation). His Norwegian Muggle mother is a professor in Anthropology at the Queen Margaret University. Simon has a 25-year-old social-media-obsessed squib sister who has moved to London to develop her own beauty product brand. They used to be close, but she has drifted further away after his Hogwarts acceptance, a silent rift growing between them. Simon's grandfather was a merchant in rare and exotic wood materials and owned a shop. He died in a mysterious fire that burned the shop to the ground, though. Simon also has a morepork owl named Hoax, known for being exceptionally emotionally intelligent.
