Physical Description: Rodney has black hair and blue eyes. He is 5’0”” and he was 106 pounds the last time he checked, so he’s pretty average sized for his height. He has been working out ever since he was eight years old so he’s quite muscular and can pick up and thirty pound dumbbell quite easily (for the first few reps anyways), and he can run at a top speed of fourteen miles per hour (although he obviously can’t maintain that speed for more then a few seconds).

Mental Description: Rodney is a pretty friendly guy who likes to take walks, read books, and play video games. He is slightly more extroverted then he is introverted however, so he doesn’t talk to random people he doesn’t know very often. He also doesn’t like being distracted in class unless he knows the material being taught, and he likes learning quite a bit.

Biography: Rodney grew up in a relatively well off family with a dad, a mom, and a younger sister named Penelope who was born two months after Rodney’s third birthday. Rodney’s family was a happy one because despite Rodney’s parents being busy with work for most of the week and leaving Rodney at home with his grandparents in the meantime, they still found time for Rodney, especially during the weekends during which it was common for Rodney and his family to go out somewhere. Rodney’s life only got better after Penelope was born, as now, he had his younger sister to play with. The two siblings would grow quite close with each other as they grew older and with the bond of trust they had developed, they could always depend on each other when they had no one else they felt they could turn to.

Now, Rodney’s family and relatives was compromised of a ton of witches and wizards, but despite this, Rodney’s parents chose to live in a muggle neighborhood while using magic only when needed around the house. This was for two reasons, the first one being so that Rodney wouldn’t spit out any unnecessary information to muggle children until he was old enough to be trusted with the fact that magic actually existed and he, along with his whole family, were wizards, and two, because his father thought that his son should live trough the muggle experience just like he had as a child before he found out that the magical world existed.

Rodney began going to primary school when he was five years old which was where he made friends with a number of other kids over the years. Rodney and his friends would hang out quite often during recess and after school as they grew older, and this, combined with the other activities Rodney did, ensured that the boy was rarely bored. Rodney and his friends would even have occasional sleepovers at each other’s houses during which they would munch on a ton of junk food, something that not even Rodney could resist, play board games or video games on xbox or playstation, and watch a funny movie starring Adam Sandler while they sat on a couch and ate Doritos.

When he was six, Rodney decided that he wanted to become a healer when he grew up, just like his parents. Seeing this, Rodney’s parents asked the boy whether or not he wanted to read some books on the subject of healing, and when he agreed, they brought a few home for the boy to read. Now Rodney loved to read, and having almost nothing better to do, he read until he was done with all of the books he was brought, after which his parents brought him some more books to bring. They brought him many different kinds of books; short books that took less then an hour to read, and long books that took a few days to read, small, paperback books that felt as light as a feather, and big, hardcover books that felt as heavy as a bowling ball, books written by wizards containing magical remedies to all sorts of problems, and books written by muggles containing muggle remedies to more realistic problems and talking about the human body and whatnot.

Rodney read about how the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems worked, how diseases formed, how to eat healthy, how to properly bandage a cut or a wound, how to deal with a drowning person, and so on. At some point, Rodney decided to start eating healthy and working out consistently, a task that he failed quite a bit as he started out, but became more consistent with as time went on. Later on, Rodney also got involved in a few extra curricular activities like soccer and basketball, and some martial arts which, in combination with his other habits, made him one of the best kids in his P.E. class.

One day, sometime in summer of 2023, Rodney received an owl containing his invitation to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as all of the supplies he would need to get before getting on the train going to Hogwarts. Later that summer, Rodney and his family went to Diagon Alley to buy him his wand, books, cauldron, etc. and on the first of September, Rodney would say goodbye to his family as he boarded the Hogwarts Express.

First Instance of Magic: Rodney’s first instance of accidental magic happened when he was three. He was at a store with his mom when he noticed a candy bar that he really wanted. Rodney asked his mom to buy the candy bar but she refused. Rodney became really mad about about it, even going as far as to call his mom mean, but his mom still refused to buy the candy bar and simply continued shopping for her groceries, instead opting to continue teaching her three year old that the world does not revolve around him.

Now before I move on with the story, it is important to mention that as Rodney was only three at this point and still liked riding in the shopping cart while his mom (or dad) shopped around, he would sit in the shopping cart that his mother was using. It is also important to mention that Rodney had never come within arms reach of the candy bar that he wanted. This is important because it meant that there was no way for Rodney to reach and steal the candy bar that he wanted to eat.

The thing is, when Rodney put his hands into his pockets, he noticed something that hadn’t been there before, something that was big and hard. He proceeded to pull the thing out of his pocket and soon found out that it was the same candy bar that he had asked his mother to buy him mere moments ago. Rodney’s mother noticed pretty quickly that her son had this candy bar, and although her first thought was that Rodney had stolen it, she soon realized that Rodney had juat performed his first instance of accidental magic by teleporting the candy bar from the shelf it was on to his pocket.
