Mental Description: Seven is kind and quiet - although, when they want to be heard, they will be heard. They are always more comfortable and confident around friends and family.

Biography: Seven was a fairly average child living in a world without magic. They went to a public school and had a friend group who they often hung out with. Their family relationship was good - their parents rarely fought.

But while everything looked normal on the outside, they had a secret. Their mother, Olive Harley Finney (nee Temming), was a witch who had gone to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She had been sorted into Hufflepuff house and learned how to cast charms, transfigure objects, brew potions, and much more. After seven years, Olive graduated and married a man. Not a wizard. A Muggle. His name was Leland John Finney. They loved each other, but they had to hide that fact. Briefly mentioning the marriage, they found a house in London, England for a good price and had a child when Olive was age twenty-five and Leland was twenty-six. Olive and Leland named their child Seven, for unknown reasons.

Anyways, because Seven was a half-blood, they could be either magic or not. So for a long time, their two parents waited to see what the result was.

Olive's first instance of magic had been when she was aged eight years. This means that after Seven turned nine, Olive and Leland came to the conclusion that their child was not magic and wouldn't be going to Hogwarts. That didn't mean it was a bad thing. Seven was happy at their Muggle school - and that made everyone else happy. Everything was better than okay.

A year passed and Seven's grades were looking good. Olive and Leland had a lot to be proud of. Then Seven made a life-changing decision, and they had no doubts about it. They expressed their wishes to their parents to be non-binary. It was who they truly were - no matter what gender they had been born as.

Olive and Leland could've been more understanding. The two couldn't quite figure out what their child was saying. As a result of Seven's frustration, a bolt of red light streaked upward, evaporating just after leaving a scorch mark on the ceiling.

The parents - especially Olive - were overjoyed. (They also began using they/them pronouns for Seven - that part was not forgotten.)

Realizing they might want to get a head start on everything there was to know about the wizarding world, Seven got to work. They asked their mother for information regarding Hogwarts and practiced the hand movement for spells with a stick rather than a wand.

Seven and their friends were all very close. But, when Seven got a letter from Hogwarts, they lied (how could they tell Muggles the truth?) to their friends they were attending a private school. They're still in touch. (Pen pals, that sort of thing.)

First Instance of Magic: When Seven - age ten - told their parents they didn't feel like a female and wanted to use they/them pronouns, they got frustrated because their parents didn't really understand. They just wanted to be themself. What more did they have to say? Suddenly, a red bolt of light flew up into the air, nearly striking the ceiling of their house, before evaporating. It was pretty clear Seven was magic.
